all i know is that ESG-Swangin & Bangin & Lil Keke-3 n Mornin was explosive sucessful independent underground hits koming from the Southside of Houston with D.J.Screw(rip) but 2 me, the 3 original freestyle kings who made it big on radio & video i heard & seen 1st were: ESG, Lil KeKe, & Lil Flip & the 1st time i heard Flip on 97.9Box radio was on Realest Ryming with ESG on the Shining & Grinding album which was a success but Ocean Of Funk album & Dont Mess Wit Texas album by ESG & Keke were timeless! Classic! gold albums down south but Lil Flip was the 1st youngest SUC member 2 go platinum so all 3 of yall r Texas underground legends who put the Southside of Houston on the map Locally, Statewide, & Nationwide, back in the 90's the radio station 97.9Box supported our very own local independent rap artist on the radio in heavy rotation, miss those days.

Why years ago nobody from Houston challenged flip on this title when it really meant something. Niggas was letting flip claim that shit when it was really poppin. Cant wait for 20 years to go by then start asking questions. Flip been claiming the title and nobody from Houston corrected it. So to me flip is the freestyle king no matter what. But me personally I like Fat Pat and Keke.
