Lil Kim is regarded as the pioneer of female sexual expression in rap music. With rappers such as Nicki Minaj, Cardi B and Megan thee Stallion taking inspiration from her. With her hardcore posturing and sexually explicit rhymes, rapper Lil' Kim blazed a trail for other like-minded and liberated female MCs in the '90s and beyond.
Today, we're going over her troubled relationships with men which partially led to her low self-esteem issues and drastic transformation which took place in the form of plastic surgery.

She was beautiful before the surgery. Theoretically, she could have just switched to an organic diet, and maintain a regular exercise routine. Her "enhancements" have had the opposite effect that was intended.

This was so deep and Amazing! Just today I was recounting how in my teens I hated my big lips, huge breasts and broad shoulders because I was constantly teased by my peers, but Bless the Lord I fell in love with myself when I reached age 20 and accepted myself and my body. If I could go back, I would tell my teenaged self that it's a beautiful thing to be different. Thank you for answering so many questions I had about Lil' Kim. Stay blessed.

This entire thing was disgraceful. How you gonna quote something she said in 95 and haven’t heard that since? Why don’t you watch time too shine one of her first music videos ever. She was never dark skin, if you wanna talk about skin tone kim when she really blew up she tanned often to get the Barbie look for her era notorious KIM. Her natural skin tone has always been light brown. So for you to put up these pictures from back in the day to now it’s literally the same skin tone and you have the nerve to say it’s bleach when it’s lighting or makeup, are you SERIOUS? That's ALL you got out of this video? I personally think she bleached and although that hasn't been confirmed a person who loves themselves wouldn't change her appearance the way she did, it's way beyond her skin tone, it's the crazy plastic surgery too. Since the message of this video CLEARLY went over your head let me tell you: This video simply highlights how her tumultuous relationships with men (starting with her father) led to her self esteem issues which in turn led to her looking like a complete different person! Point is we - including Kim - are beautiful just the way we are and shouldn't make other people feel like we need to change ourselves to feel loved. All these self esteem quotes came straight out of Kim's own mouth, one of which was from that same Angie Martinez interview. This is far from "Disgraceful" Y'all Lil Kim stand need to chill, nobody is attacking her.
