@@jackharvey1952 You are right and wong at the same time. The original Old Town Road track with just Lil Nas X was on both of the hip-hop and country billboard charts. The country charts removed it and claimed it wasn't real country music and that's when Billy Ray Cyrus joined in for the remix ro show everyone that it was a real country song.

IIRC, his wife and other daughter had seen the original video and heard about how it was taken off the country charts because it wasn't "country" enough. Lil Nas heard about that and asked his fans to try and help get Billy on the track. One thing lead to another and hear we are. And notice the subliminal words Billy and Nas say at the start. It says it all.
