This has been the worst week of my life. My best friend committed suicide a few days ago. I'm still shock and can't actually believe it. He used to listen to lil peep all the time. I honestly feel like a loser sometimes, like I'm just pathetic, helpless. I have people in my life, finally found friends but sometimes I feel distant from all of them after a while. They're athletes, all outgoing. Things are still hard. But climbing a mountain has its ups and down. Can't deny the view though...people have left me behind. I remain alone. I think deep inside, we all look up to peep as that part of us that was never understood by anyone or anything and we blame as the reason for all our failings, especially when we convince ourselves that we are not worthy of love. But his attitude, his spirit, so unapologetic and so raw is a battle cry that part of ourselves is raging inside for us to recognise. That’s why we should all be proud of ourselves, be happy that part of you is calling out. I used to hate on lil peep and lil peep fans and I never gave his songs a chance until I started dating the love of my life. I used to not even like this kind of music and I never understood why people liked it, but I have never felt more deeply connected and understood through his music and his lyrics than I have with any other artist.
