LIL ROB IS THE KING OF CHICANO RAP , EVERYONE KNOWS THAT , U CANT BRING UP CHICANO RAP WITHOUT HIM COMING TO MIND , THIS FOO PUT OUT SOME OF THE BEST TRACKS THERE IS
Lil Rob will always be a legend in my eyes! I asked my man if they played Summer Nights on the radio out here in Missouri and he said yeah, so they do know who he is from that song but I had to school him on what a legend Lil Rob is!
Why all this respect for black people about not saying the n word? They don’t respect us our raza and stay messing with our elders, robbing hardworking paisanos, nah they get no respect from me
Been listening to Lil Rob since 6th grade, I would walk to school with my cd player playing "crazy life" album, knowing that Lil Rob also represented the city I was raised in made me an all time fan. I am 29 years old now, working as a Cyber security engineer, when I am working I have Lil Rob on my Spotify playlist. Always looking forward to Lil Rob and what he drops, he is the GOAT of chicano rap, no other chicano rapper can come close.
Ahhhh! 🙌🏽😍 I think Lil Rob is finding out first hand how much of a LEGEND he is .. seeing him all over my feed with all the podcasts.. im living for this
One of the kings of Chicano Rap . He’s music is something we can relate to and real from the corazon.. A lot of the new school Chicano rappers can learn from this legend . RoB always kept it old school .. No skinny jeans or saying the N word …
Yep he just appreciation for black american music just like the whites that have done Hip Hop & R & B music, but he still is himself. Have to respect artists like Lil Rob, George Michael, Adele, & Hall & Oates.

I feel like you guys should have gone more in depth. We know summer nights was everywhere as well. Lil rob back in the day people thought he was “scared” of gangs in other areas so he didn’t tour but now we know he had severe anxiety and still struggles with it. Also maybe cool to talk about his start with “brown crowd”. I say this respectfully. He broke barriers he was the first “sureño” to perform in Northern California and I remember he got bottles thrown at him but he matured out of the gang life and started being about Brown unity. That’s big as hell. He deserves all the respect and shine. I say this with all due respect I’m glad you guys interviewed him.
I'm from up north west sacramento I remember I was 13 years old in the hall and every cell had the mic/speaker and they would play the radio and summer nights was on the Playlist. I'm not gonna lie I was bumping it haha shaaaoooo
