That’s why she’s a judge and your not!!….no offense…, but when your In a profession such as hers you have to be able to oppress any type of emotions that could be considered bias and always be professional in all aspects. Sry I’m a 3rd year law student.

For real! They were more concerned with being immature and taking shots at each other instead of talking about the needs of their children. This was a really annoying and gross case and she handled these two immature CHILDREN with such flare amd with grace!
Child support is oppressive in USA. Title iv meant to benefit the state. The whole system of child support should be ABOLISHED!!!!!!!! It is theft and oppression!!!!
That is the point. The government wants you to spend all your money to help the economy. This is why governments give as much money to women as possible. Women spend or are the cause of spending of about 80% of all money.

It apparently doesn’t matter how much the parent makes when they have the children most of the time. Even if she would make 200,000 the other parent is still liable to pay for the children because they are both parents and both have to contribute.
If the kid was living perfectly OK under the previous lower amount, it's beyond obvious that the additional amount of money do not go to the baby, it goes to the custodial parent who will use the money to party, buy purses, and other recreational uses. Stop treating kids like ATM machines! $500-Monthly is more than enough to support a single child with no medical / disability issues. The system is a scam!
@@JudgeVondaB I appreciate you taking the time to respond, however, (as you say in your courtroom) you did not answer the question :-) If the kid was living perfectly well with $500 monthly, where is the new higher amount going to? The custodial parents treat kids like a winning lotto ticket. The system needs to fix two main flaws:- #1- on all custody cases, child custody should be automatically joint plain and simple, unless there is overwhelming evidence the other parent is unfit or unwilling. These parents fight to the bitter end for custody b/c they want child support money. Make all custody cases automatically joint and watch half your court calendar clear up by 40% #2- set a fixed flat amount of child support regardless of how much the other parent makes (as long as the parent is earning above the poverty line) then these people wouldn't be going to court year after year asking for more money. The other parent would do their best to earn more on the books to offset his support obligation and not be afraid that he/she will be penalized by being charged more child support money. The custodial parent would then not be tying up the courts time filing for increases every year. Finally, and I think you are aware of this, child support & alimony is one of the main contributors to divorce and the break up of families. The other party sees the opportunity to get alimony + child support + earn as much money as possible without being penalized.
This is why you don't disclose what you make or where you work. The proponderance of evidence is for them to prove not for you to foolishly admit. These are expensive mistakes people must live with. That dude needed like 10 percocets to calm down 😮
