You’re on the outside looking in close the blinds and they say never say never but fuck it never mind I’ve been gone too Long true or false right or wrong hello, Weezy welcome home
"Some words that been rhyming too long and I ain't see a mic yet". Wayne is the most gifted rapper of his generation. How you been rapping since you was 11 and was always nice
THAT PART! I had to go back and listen to him say it again. People clown on him but he’s the real deal, a truly thoughtful and kind soul on top of being one of the greatest!
He's better now than he's ever been. Just that hip hop doesn't cater to the grown and mature so he's not seen as sell-able. I mean kids buy the most music out there.
He’s always been pretty transparent and humble in my opinion. When he was young he never cussed in his songs, then on the first album he cussed, he was saying “Sorry for cussing” in his songs. I never thought he had an ego. Bragging is just part of rap but as a person he seems like a humble dude ever since
@@a.p.5825you obviously know nothing 😂😂 there’s numerous artist he’s worked with that said Wayne went in the booth, recorded 3 or 4 different verses, one take each, and told them to pick the verse they wanted for the feature 😂😂
Back in the day I had a massive catalog of his music. It was almost too ridiculous how many tracks this dude had…..but you know how the story goes…..damn apple deleting everything
Great feeling being alive to witness the words i spoke into existence when 14 years old I said this man would be the greatest rapper. His music kept me going through some rough times and great times. Blessing
You shouldn’t love celebs… they sell us out. It’s rich vs the rest of us. You may be a sleep sheep so you wouldn’t understand. And don’t take offense to that… just know ignorance is truly bliss
Wayne is the only rapper I’d feel comfortable enough meeting. Dudes always seemed like a genuinely cool human being. He’s never put on an act like he was something he wasn’t. Always been respectful to people that didn’t disrespect him.
@@chriskibodeaux9818no he isn’t, who tf are you. Everyone knows Wayne don’t write. You don’t even understand the process of coming up with a track. He says what he wants, then they run it back. That’s how he records. Either keep it or scrap it.
Cap, I know he freestyles some but he def has written and memorized lyrics. He might freestyle them but def he’s cycling through some memorized lyrics.
If you are a lil Wayne fan you’ll understand how insane that is.His word play, delivery and consistency in the game makes me testify to how much of a genius this guy is.. Best rapper alive💯✅
I absolutely love Lil Wayne!! No matter how much $$$ he makes, he remains humble💚 Love his voice, whether talking or singing,,,he is a very unique artist💯
@@random_hero_88Ah yeah your his white brother that ghost writes for him ay😉 I don't see the reason he'd bullshit about it, he's already made it. He isn't some amateur kid talking shit to try impress people. Artists all have different creative processes. Sure he might be talking shit or over exaggerating or being completely honest. We are randoms that have no fucking clue at the end of the day. However there is heaps of videos of him doing proper freestyles, the potential that it is true is definitely evident. More so than your belief that is based off 0 knowledge of how he does things behind the scenes.
That's what makes him special...he's never changed who he truly is and for that I such respect for him. New Orleans Born and raised watched him grow up..such a genuine man.
nah he had to work for that. He wasn't a savant when he was young. The necessity of him having to do better is what pushed him to do better, per BUN B.
Not underrsted by no means, to me he will always be my favorite rapper and they way his musics always changing and evolving and is still good for 2 or 3 decades and to still be dropping fire shit... that is hard to do. Wayne isnt ever gonna fall
@@chavez503Why would he have to lie at this point?wayne has stated many times he stopped writing after working with Jay Z and saw his process, anyone who works with Wayne says he doesn't write when they work with him in the studio so are they lying as well 😂
U can tell he such a kind and genuine soul, no matter what he rap about on the mic he seem hella approachable and intellectual self aware of bs and authenticity. Hope I get to meet him 1 day
Eh. There’s a script. It’s more or less a guide with audience que’s. But it is more or less heavily rehearsed. I believe Joe Rohan talks about going and it blowing his mind lol.
Jigga changed bro life. He said when he realized Jay-Z didn’t write songs, he stopped writing too. It’s all emotion and talent. Sometimes the words don’t even make sense together, but weezy make it flow so smoothly.
@@jdot714WRONG find Clark Kent's retelling of Big and Jay in the studio for Brooklyn's Finest. PLUS, Jay has told he used to write on anything he could find paper, brown paper bags but as he traveled further and further away from home he began to start writing in his head and doing drills to remember lines. There are longer versions of this on RU-vid but here's a short: ru-vid.com1lTCeQfQeGQ?si=4kh9xaR7EP-2jh5m

@@anthonyricketts3946 I’m a software engineer. Every morning our team meets to discuss what we did yesterday, what we’re doing today and if there are any blockers. The idea is to do it while standing so we can get through it quicker. I think that’s where the term came from. It’s a common practice in the industry.
Definitely one of the greatest rapper ever. Definitely in the conversation of GOAT. Personally my 2nd favorite rapper. One of the few artists that i could listen to almost his whole catalog.
You know you a G.O.A.T when you gotta study your own lines. Mad luv Wayne you inspired me and got me thru more times then I can remember and i love you for that 🙏👊💯👑💜
I loke this Man . Dont know Him , Dont know anything about Him , but He's always Calm , Speaks nicely to others , and is never a lose cannon with His words or actions . Many could learn from Him . He seems like a true Gentleman no matter what the situation is . God Bless You and Yourn always 🌷🦋
He is so rare. U dont see artists as big as him in the music industry get this big with just freestyle. He stayed true to himself through n through and for that hes a true rap legend.
Lil Wayne is a legend and as more time goes by it’s clear that people are starting to appreciate him for who he is. I remember in 🇬🇧 high school and we had posters of Cash Money from the Source in our art folders and on our bedroom wall. I am 39 now and that was 98/99 so it’s unbelievable how long he has been relevant.
Hell yeah bro. Same thing over here in the bay. Of course we loved mac Dre e40 too short etc but weezy was siiiick. Everyone went bananas everytime a new tape dropped
@@etowood Yes mate, in the UK in the 90’s we were bumpin all those Oakland guys: E40, B-Legit, Too Short, Luniz, Mac Mall etc. we love that shit!!! 👌 👍
A true artist like Jay memorized his lines, he's not writing in his head properly, he wanted to be like Jay so much that he skipped the process of learning how to do it
Really hard to pick a GOAT in this game, damned near impossible (unlike the NBA where it's apparent to about 99% of folks). But we know who should be in the discussion even if we can't agree on who is at the apex. Could we actually say that somebody from a more current generation is better than some of the founding fathers of the genre because they've taken it to a different level? That's hard to do considering that there was no game and these innovators created the game and pushed through so it wouldn't die so that later generations had something to work with. I think the best you could do is to have a combined goat and grab somebody from each generation '80s '90s and '2000's.
