Drake wasn’t in the conversation yet, it would’ve only been Nicki. When Spitta told Wayne he wanted to do his own thing that’s when Wayne went and found Drake.
GG Curren$y. I am glad he stuck to his guns and still spits lyrics that actually mean something and can actually be viewed in my eyes as a true artist. Long live hip hop.
You people don’t understand how classic this footage really is. This was a special moment in time for Wayne and his fans during his YMCMB come up. You can tell he’s typed about currency and the rest of them. This was his first officially signed artist!!!!! Btw currency MURDED that beat!!!!!!!!😭 🔥 🔥🔥🔥🔥tha god thank you for blessing us with that verse my god!! Currency is so talented he sounds better here than your typical “top 10 rappers” period!!!!
What I love about this video is I was youngin when it came out & wayne was literally my favorite rapper at the time fast forward to today curren$y my favorite rapper crazy how the universe works
THIS Spitta when he was rappin w/ metaphores & punchlines was when he was @ his best, & Wayne was da best rapper at da time.... Wayne knew all Curren$y verses on all these bus videos, so maybe Spitta leavin Young Money was da fuel 4 da downfall of Wayne lyrically, cause spitta influenced wayne's dress code n all, Wayne never wore Bape until Curren$y got there his swagger was on 100 when Curren$y was on YM, as soon as spitta left, da old '05, '06, 07 Carter 2, Drought 3, Wayne left da building 2!
hahaha shit's hilarious, I think when he had Spitta in YM, Wayne had a different idea with the whole crew like you can tell he thought Spitta was dope then shit happened and they decided to take the pop route and forgot about Curren$y. Spitta leaving worked best on both ends cause the dude is hip-hop while YMCMB is mainstream rap. Great seeing them reunite on Smoke Sumthin' I hope we get more collabos from the two in the future
No one has ever taken over the game quite like Wayne did around this time. Mix tapes, albums and a verse on just about everything, absolutely murdering everything with ridiculous bars. He had the game on smash consistently hitting us wit fire. Good times
+MarvFIT you right, drake the like the modern day version of wayne he did the same thing, verses on everything and they all hot, got people fiending for new shit from him and checking out every verse he puts out. i guess it's only right tho that he was wayne's lil bro who he passed the torch to and put him on
+fr3sh3st0ut I love drake but I don't think that's a good comparison. Lil Wayne had hip hop versatility, he was hitting the streets wit bars and at the same time was able to make commercial fire. Drake is too commercial, don't get me wrong he makes good music and sometimes hits us with some bars but his still is nothing like Wayne. I get what you saying though
man its been years since ive check out these out da bus video...they were a staple in my childhood...back before wayne got whack...damn these videos blew up
was this ever released for a download? curre$y has been that dude i found him on the this is how we do remix, and have been fucking with him over since.
God, can you imagine how much weed was being smoked on that bus with Spitta and Wayne on there? haha Blunts and papers all over the place...u know Spitta never hit no blunt though, the real rap pioneer of the paper movement, well I guess u could say B Real but Currensy really preaches that shit.he'll make u feel bad about smokin blunts HAHA
I Want All Of These Young Money Curren$y Songs SOOOO BAD!!! I Wonder If They EVER Gonna Release Them... That Would Be A Breath Of Fresh Air To The Bullshit We Gotta Listen To Today...
For all you wondering what the song called, its unknown. If you read the description you can se that it sayz "Lil Wayne & YM chillin & rappin' over tracks from upcoming CD releases...." Since the song hasen't been released yet it's propably a song that will bee on Tha Carter III, which will bee released a week before christmas, so cop it when wayne drops it. peace
