This is a song close to my heart when me and the mother of my kids split she changed up and I saw it affect the kids but I was to busy hustling running the street trying to make ends meet child support in and of jail I never had an addiction. Except the hustle and the money and the life that came with I was addicted to it missed alot of important moments but my kids have never struggled and have got anything they ever wanted and I was torn leave that life and struggle getting them everything they want and be there for them that what they needed they did not n2ed my money they needed there father and damn to I regret the years I lost think spoiling them could replace the father figure that they so desperately needed like in tears writing this but I wa young and did not no better my child hood was broken so I did not know how important that was growing up but I got it now and have custody of all 3 of my kids I dont hustle I struggle to make ends meet but my kids are so happy it fucking kills knowing that life could have been so simple I could have been at ever school is all they needed but in an out of jail for 10 yrs my oldest is ten I was there the whole time but not really I was locked about 6 of the 10 years off and on a d when I think about it that way I was barely there I have missed more then half of my kids child hood on false pretenses money was enough anybody reading love your fucking kids if ur getting high stop if ur hustling get a 9 to 5 let ur kids see a work ethic let them see there will be struggles but show them mo matter the struggles that love will never fade while u have the time I say I have custody of all 3 of my kids but i had 4 one was hit by a car while i was doing a 2 yr prison sentence he was 3 I knew nothing about him u cant protect them if ur not there for them physically plan and simple dont be me I beg anybody dont be me
