We actually do though. I’m from Northern CA and one of my friends showed me him in high school. OxyContin and smoking song, ten toes tall were my favs. He was very understated though just like Bay Area Northern CA rappers are as well. I think the lyrics are just too hard for the radio. Idk though, just a thought.
Im from LA and I'm a huge fan of lil wyte, I visited some family out in Nashville back in like 2010 and saw a lil wyte show at a spot called the muse which is no longer there I think. I got a chance to meet him and smoke with him backstage because one of my cousins was an underground rapper who opened up for wyte. Ive been a fan ever sense, wyte goes hard and he's solid.
What a dope interview. I remember like it was yesterday when Wyte dropped. Oxy Cotton was the first track I heard and then it just blew up from there. I was like 12-13. What a struggle he had to go through but there isn’t a more deserving guy.
I listened to his first three albums heavy. It wasn’t until now I looked back into his discography and he’s dropped a solid amount of albums since. I browsed through them casually. None will compare to the first couple, especially his debut album! 🔥🔥🔥
I never forget, visiting my grandma in Monroe, Louisiana hearing one of your first songs on the radio behind the album and taking it back to where I grew up back in North Hollywood, California. All my friends were digging that and still to this day we dig that album.
To those of us that grew up off of The mafia , lil wyte is a legend to us !! That album he dropped was one of the best albums to come out of that camp .. I think it’s called “Doubt me now” .. I still play that album to this day !!
2003 I was 13 or 14 when that album came out. Then he's second has my fav lil wyte song ever good Ole boys. Listing to it still in 2022 and still sounds new.

Curious as to what they could have done differently with him. They produced several of his solo albums, put him as a feature on 3-6 albums. Had him tour with them. Put him on Project Pat albums. Put him on their little movies. Curious as to what else they could have done.

His old crew should've understood that it's business. He had that something the pros were looking for. At that point, it was up to them to congratulate him for making it. It was up to him to line his circle up for their time to shine in the future. With the connections he'll surely make, he maybe could've introduced them to someone who'd give them an opportunity.

I was obsessed with Triple 6 when I first heard World Domination chapter 2. I ended up collecting all the album but I remember seeing Lil Whyte on a magazine at the mall, ain't gonna lie I honestly laughed at the name thinker he would be a joke but when I got that doubt me now cd I never listened to another cd more. I probably did at least a kilo to that album lol.
