I dont like Yachty music, So I actually watched this interview hoping to find something that would make me give him another try and become a fan. But sadly I couldnt find anything. Maybe thats to the fault of the people interviewing him...I dont know. I wasnt a big fan of 21 Savage, and thought he was just your average young knucklehead nigga rapping about gang shit. Then I saw his BFC interview, learned about where he was coming from, and now I have over 10 of his tracks in my daily rotation. Im in my early 30s, so Im what Lil Yachty would consider a old Man. I listen to these young Brothas during interviews because I want to see where their heads are at and find something to like about their music. But a lot of times its hit or miss. One thing that I do respect about Yachty is his hustle. 19 yrs old and he found a way to use technology to start a career. Other younger folks (and older folks) should take notes. Whereas I dont have one single Yachty track in my rotation, I wish nothing but the best for my youngin!!
