He’s not a veteran, but he brings military people on his show. Do you see how dense you sound? It’s a podcast where all kinds of people come on
every single thing he said is on record publicly - Drake never charged for any features and any artist that Drake does feature for, instantly goes number one that month. That includes snakes like Future and Kendrick Lamar. - Drake has written for huge artists like Kanye west for YEARSSSSSS and Kanye is on record admitting to that. - Drake affect is visible on charts, every single year - Drake length of dominance over 14 years (since Take CARE) is the longest stretch any artist has ever had on billboard charts anywhere in the world. - Every single club every where in the USA still plays Drake around 12 am onwards when they want to finally have some fun. Because as much as you all hate it, Drake is STILL that guy. - A multimillionaire with all his life on public record, has nothing to be depressed about since the person dissing him has no credibility (11 year old daughter *cough cough*) i admire Andrew to have balls to have this discussion when the entire social media, entire mainstream media, 10+ artists and half of the country is trying to take the KING down. as apparent in this comment section of bandwagon Kendrick $lurper$.
See the corny damge control is what’s making me go anti drake😂. Bruh found/bought a whole van, went to get it crushed, made a video, multiple tracks, still tweets about it to this day, not letting people from La perform in Toronto, made a whole track saying “nah ughh he’s lying I give up” even tho they both were just saying ish.. … but I’m supposed to believe he doesn’t give af?😂 k. 👍🏾
Brother in real life people don’t listen to or know Kendrick Lamar they might know a couple songs but Kendrick dosent get play in real life especially in the clubs drake put all those bum nerd back pack rappers on 😂😂
@@GwopUpEnt Kids gotta be trolling 😅. "People don't listen to or know Kendrick Lamar" 🤣 And yes... Let's judge a Rappers worth based on whether or not their music is played in the club. I didn't know that "Rappers" aimed to be pop stars.
@@kyzelleturner2902 Multimillionaires have feelings too. If Drake's music has shown anything over the past few years it's how often he gets in his feelings because of the dumb immature 20 year-old women he keeps chasing and yet you think he's unbothered by this rap battle and all the negative attention it brings upon him? Someone who has a gigantic ego and has dealt with rejection and not fitting in since he was a child? Sure......
Do you know who else uses writers? Kendrick Lamar. Read the "writing credits" on his songs on Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers, it's online. Even his solo songs with 0 features have 6 to 11 different writers credited, and none of them were the producers (the "producer credits" are different than the "writing credits", and show completely different people). That proves Kendrick has writers too, a *whole team* .
the thing people critique is when rappers like Drake have someone else write their verses especially if your a MC and call yourself the best rapper. No one cares about choruses or hooks. Kendrick is a writer and freestyle off the top of his head well. Kendrick and Drake when it comes to writing aren’t the same…u see it even in the triple entendres and multiple meanings in Kendrick’s raps in the battle compared to drakes. But I still love Drakes music as well as Kendrick’s. They are completely diff types of rappers and men. Wish comparison wasn’t necessary and people just appreciated both their art like I do
@@ag2407just a few years ago Yachty sat down with Migos and Yachty said Kendrick was the best rapper Fast forward 2024.. Drake.. now the guy he's making reference tracks for... Now it's " people hate Drake because he's been on top for so long" It ain't adding up
His streams only went down 4.9%. He still had 1.2 Billion streams on Spotify last month in June, while Kendrick only had 971 Million streams.... That was over a month after Not Like Us. So, according to the numbers, it made a small dent in his career at best.
@@JAYJAYBEBE I get your point, but i honestly dont think this is about numbers anymore. It migh have started off at that but the outcome is mostly about respect and recognition as an artist in general. Drake fr got his image shattered all across the globe, having people all over the world dancing and singing along to a song that literally picks apart all of your insecurities must not be doing too good to his mental health, despite the "small dent" the beef had in his overall numbers. Yes, Drake will still be streaming on peoples phones and radios, but i genuinely dont think that he will ever be taken seriously as a Hip Hop artist ever again, not from the public nor the other rappers in the game.
@@paulreyes6221 yesss i think he's probably the greatest clown in the music industry atp 😂 he even managed to make the Diddy situation be the second biggest talk of the moment with this whole shitstorm
💯X 💯 KL did drop that second warning in the NLU video - shipping containers with cooling systems inside. And after just seeing the Milla Jovovich/NLU video comparison on dissectpodcast’s IG acct - Drake really isn’t going to sue. Jovovich was signed to a modeling agency funded by Epstein when she was 11 yrs old - the head of the agency was Epsteins bf. The guy was arrested & charged with child r*pe and supplying minors to Epstein. He hung himself in his jail cell in 2020.
I'm drake's biggest hater but we gotta stop taking the "gay" angle to criticize his glazers. He bought his way into the culture and is obsessed with streams, I wouldn't be shocked if he bought his friends too
@@YounginBallinwhen you watched stranger things did you have the need to take a kid out to dinner? Or do you like going to high school girls basketball games that aren’t in your family? Or how about leaving thirsty emogis on girls instas that just turned 18? Should we stop there?
@@admed9262 they’re trying to say rappers are hating on Drake and Drake also had sex with many of their girls so they’re mad. 🤦🏻♂️ Instead of just admitting Drake got bodied by Kendrick Lamar and now his career is a little tainted going forward. They’re dick riding 🤷🏻♂️
Idk I didn't really see too much glazing from anyone, they weren't being negative to him but not sure if I saw them being positive either. Except yachty.
Can you blame Yachty? They’re boys. It’s just loyalty. Can’t blame him. Kendrick still swept tho. Still a fan of everyone. Also this was funny, “he can play a mob boss.” 😂 Drake already does that….
When it got to the point where DJ Akademiks of all people was correcting him on Kendrick I knew he needed to stop talking about hip hop. He's obviously a glazer
I like how he mentions how Drake's narrative was twisted to suit the beef. People start saying 1. He doesn't have a sound, he gets it from Atlanta. 2. He exploits up & coming artists 3. He doesn't have a classic/his music is repetitive. The same people used to call him Heartbreak Drake, the mellow rapper, the singer rapper. He put out Abel, PND, even exposed the world to Kendrick & ASAP. People still say that Tory copied Drake's sound. How the hell can somebody copy a sound from someone who doesn't have a distinct sound? How many artists (not signed to him) have he exposed us to for just one song/feature? How many of these top rappers has he exposed to different markets? Like Future getting a number 1 album via Drake, all those Drake pop fans went rushing in, most of them probably discovered Future via Drake. How can his sound be repetitive when a ninja sings and raps on pop, hip hop, electronic sounds? He popularized a way of sing-rapping that all these new cats hopped on. I get when people say they don't like his antics as a person, as Kendrick said, he mentioned all the things he hates about Drake and music isn't one of them. In fact he says he likes when Drake makes him dance. Is it coincidental that the decline of Hip Hop comes when Drake's musical prowess shows a decline? I see no other artist who could've served the hip hop genre as Drake did. Who could've pulled all the pop fans in, the R&B fans, the dancehall fans, the house music fans into Hip Hop? I see no other artist. Edit: Kendrick remains the greatest rapper alive, arguably. But Drake will forever be the bigger artist.
That is why it is important to watch these interviews. Shout out to Yachty, he said "He black so it's o.k." the whole room got uncomfortable, even the black guy. For Yachty to not be ashame to be black and throw it in their face. I'm giving your music another listen playboy.
Drake started with the subject matter that went nasty. Drake tried to get Kendrick cancelled first so Kendrick went with the rules Drake set up and put a spotlight on drakes grooming behavior
@@ENT8801 Who cares. This is rap battle beef. It can get nasty. Yall need to stay out of hip hop if yall don't get it. And even though Drake likes to hang around young people for inspiration or whatever, Kendrick was mainly talking about who he hangs around that's might really be the creeps....but yall so blinded in yall hatred for that man that yall couldn't even see it. SMH 🤦♂️
So lemme get this straight, yall made it easy asf to blame Drake for XXXTentacion’s death but Kendrick Lamar tells you about drakes upbringing and Degrassi (which we all knew) and now he’s a poser. Drake says things like “I’ll put money on your head” and hangs with gangster and rough riders so I guess that’s why they say he’s “acting gangster”. SO are we gonna apologize to Drake for accusing him of the X situation or at least admit he had nothing to do with it? That’s the only way the “poser” allegations would be accurate🤷🏾♂️
Drake been at the top of the game so long and mfs been hating the whole time lol its what comes with being great. These guys been secretly hating and Kendrick made it cool to come out and express said hate
Ummmm do u know drake personally? Between the both of us, only Kendrick has conversed with him and damn near had a friendship with him at one point. So he knows drake more than we do. There’s a reason y there’s a hate train rn …maybe he’s not a good person ? Even lil Wayne , his mentor , dissed him in a song this past weekend. But keep riding drake dck. Sorry to break it to u but he prob doesn’t want u riding his sht no ways .
Yachty just blowing his career away with this one, dude showed he really doesnt give a damn about other people/artists and will do some shady, dirty moves because he thinks he can, no need to think about others. Also, he is proving he is either really naive and dumb to believe the stuff he sayin, like drake doing feats "for free" because he is just "a really nice person", or he does not care about lying to the fans and to himself for money, doging questions about things he said before like he dont remember any of it or like it aint no big deal. Lost all my respect for him in a flash.
Drake didn’t sleep with Kendrick’s fiancé and Kendrick already broke Drakes records number wise so nothing he said to defend his boy is working on kdot
@@RayyDawgggyour boy Yachty said everyone is jealous of Drake for sleeping their women and breaking streaming records but this isn’t accurate since he did none of those things to Kendrick Lamar
@@xxxxoooo9094 brother I’m positive that Drake is the only artist to ever live to have 100 billion streams and obviously he didn’t smash Kendrick’s wife you want a cookie or something
So Mr hotspot told you he wanted a clean version for the kids and for religious reasons and instead of respecting that you go and leak the song instead …. NO MORALS
*It’s Hilarious How People From Kdot’s Team Can Say Things About Him & It’s Automatically GOSPEL … But If Someone Cool With Drake Says Something, Then It’s “Of Course They’re Gonna Say That, He’s Cool With Drake” 🤔😂*
LOL most of them move in silent actually if not all , they just start talking now because of the shows being cancel. The only ones that really spoke about this situation was Ab-Soul and actually he said if Drake is the Mc that he believes he is , he steal can redeem himself, so it was actually a compliment
Most of the people who are cool with Drake fell off with him. Most of the people around him are there for the benefit not because he’s a good person, we don’t need any speaking for him cuz he loves attention and can’t stay away from the internet. Dot doesn’t post none so it’s fair for someone close to him to say some about him. Most of Dot peeps are people who been around him for over a decade or 2 but drake peeps are industry friends.
The features help Drake algorithmically. It’s highly intelligent actually. There is a mathematical power in computer science that I define as a digital handshake. Drake puts his hand out at a low algorithmic level to unknown artists and as long as they make it and develop their brands - the handshake completes itself and ultimately strengthens the brand that initiated the handshake. Drake effect - deeper than we know was a true statement. Nonetheless it’s still dope that Drake does it. Other rappers will never understand the algorithmic power in computer science behind essentially showing love. Unfortunately they will never benefit from this concept because they can’t even fake show love lol smh. King Drizzy
To be fair on the first question in the video. I think the reason future hates drake was because he was with future's girl. But like I thought that's future's whole schtick? I'm sure the future has been with a lot of people's women.
At the end of the day a lot of the hate comes from the fact that Drake is from Canada and was on Degrassi and Kendrick is from the streets of Compton Cali USA and in the world of Hip Hop street Cred goes along way
I don’t get why people think Drake would care lol the dude is rich as fuck. Hes not gonna stop living his lifestyle lol the only thing different is people won’t shut up about him lol yall keeping him relevant by bringing him up everyday. Use your heads lol
