Lilac season went by so fast but I’ve managed to capture lots of photos so we can paint this beautiful flower together. This is also a wonderful opportunity to practice watercolor greenery, so let’s get right into it!

@Anna Bucciarelli Thank you for your tutorials, it's great to see how other people work and why they use certain pigments or techniques, it really helps to build your own art work up and have more ideas, techniques and reasons to add to your colour pallet, for example I've never used the Quinaquidone colours because I didn't know they what was special about them and their uses. BTW, I love your flower paintings and the rose is divine, sadly I have no source to get lilac so I don't think I'll be painting that, but I do have a hydrangea that I can try out your technique on. Thank you Anna for another very informative, helpful video! You are one of the few who really give detailed instruction in an understandable & logical format on you Tube. There seem to be less & less demos of both the wet technique & layering, which is what makes WC unique &what it is best at. Nicely done!! Lavender can be a tough color to do well. I like your explanation for the use of colors, cool and warm etc. I am a newer watercolorist. I was wondering if you could paint a simple to draw composition that teaches your detailed techniques so even the beginner could try it? Maybe 3 grapes and a pansy bloom laying on a tablecloth or one flower in a simple bud vase or an object you like. Then you don't have to stay up all night! : ) Anna your intuition and experience is wonderful for us to see. Thank you for sharing your talent.

Absolutely stunning! I have had to take a hiatus from painting for a while due to a major move, but once I’m settled, this tutorial has inspired me to make it my return-to-work project. Hello Anna....I so enjoyed watching you paint. You add color that makes florals, or grapes, along with leaves become a work of art to keep on observing the beautiful picture. Might i ask, In the first steps and the layers that followed, several times you painted wet on wet such as the background. If you did not mention wet on wet, did you paint the flowers wet on dry and then the second layer wet on dry and blended out? I do hope you can understand my question? Many thanks.

Hi, I just discovered your channel and I am really interested in learning more about your job as a money designer. When I was younger, I would often collect coins that had different designs but for some reason it didn't click that actual artists drew them. It was somewhat of an accident - I had a corporate job, but started painting as a hobby… my friends encouraged me to do a website, and creative director from Royal Mint invited me to do a design. The rest is history as they say 😊 thank you for the idea - I’ll make some videos about the coin work later this year! Have a great day💜

NOOO! 🤣 I started working around 10pm after everyone was asleep [the usual] and kept finding new places to add notes and fancy arrows LOL because I am a little too obsessed with editing....they let me sleep in though but I am not doing 4 am again - my head hurts #worthit

No worries 😊 thank you for asking. I would honestly try skillshare first because you can test it for 14 days for free and also it gives you access to hundreds of other teachers for the same price. But please note that I have 7 classes, and I publish there about every 3 months. Selfishly PATREON is probably better for me but it’s only my own videos you would access. I started about a month ago, and publish all RU-vid videos in long form there (I have 3 so far, each is 2-3 hrs long (so longer than Skillshare) and I publish about 2-3 times per month 😊
