Utterly fascinating technique and video. I almost did not watch the whole thing, but decided to, since I am struggling with a lilac look that I like. I definitely got ideas. I loved that you enjoyed the process too! (I don't dislike the lilacs I've been doing, but they are not have the "heart" that yours do!) Loved it!

Happy to find you tonight. This was a great example of using splatters to create almost the whole painting. And I love splatters anyway in art. I think a lot of artists forget how to "play" in art and they wonder where their sponteity and cutting edge has gone. When I went back to school it seemed the hardest thing our great teacher had to get across was to not get crazy making thinhs perfect. Anyway, thank you for sharing your techniques with us.
