it's a pity all of the inferior sounding videos circulating around this great band. It's enuff to turn newcomers away, and that really sucks for the band.
Yea I don't get it. They really should try to put a damper on these. If this was my first exposure to them, I probably would never bother to listen again. And I AM a fan. But they really need to go back to their original style, and start doing mostly originals in their sets. I think it may be time for some change in MGT!
Melody is getting worse drawing all the words out and putting all the garbage sounds on her voice, sing it straight i bet her voice sounds brilliant, your trying too hard x
Yes captain obvious , cell phones are horrible for videos . But people want to see them anyway to see what a live show looks like . I don't give a rats a** about RU-vid fame .

@@davewill0819 people keep asking for the videos, if it makes you happy turn the volume off . Or better yet , spend thousands of dollars for video equipment and get authorization from the band , promotors and venues and do it right . Your choice .

@@Sunday33 She is starting to oversing everything now. It's actually because her voice is maturing and she can hit those REALLY high notes with precision and regularity. Now she has to learn to be judicious with it. She'll learn. She needs to listen to some of her old stuff where she NEVER oversings it because she can't. And then learn to blend the two. Less is more.
@@mk.1175I agree. I loved her voice the first time I heard their original recordings of this song and the couple of Dio songs and also Iron Maiden. More recently, it seems like Melody is kind of overdoing the inflections, it sounds almost cartoony. I wish she’d go back to just singing with her regular voice and not this over-the-top, weird thing she’s doing all of a sudden. Not that I’m criticizing her because this girl can still sing and those high notes she added were insanely good, her voice just sounds different, especially in her lower register. That’s where she is kind over doing the inflections, sliding them down lower at the end of her legato notes that she tries to sustain longer than she used to. It kind of sounds like she dragging her vocal without a clear dynamic pause between lines She awesome, but I wish she’d go back to the more serious singing she used to do and stop with this over emphasized sound to the vowels especially.
I love this band's original music and their covers, but Sam's Justin Bieber look just doesn't work for me. I like them better as rockers. I hated punk rock and grunge because they were intentionally off key and just generally poor quality. Adopting that look is a mistake for this band.
@@stevebondeson2852 The boy band look is clearly not loved by most of their existing rocker fans. I don't fault them for trying something different but I hope they see the folly of this particular experiment. Not saying they need to return to the ultra long hair but they do need to look like rockers, not punks.
This!!! Everyone who keep raving about her "amazing" vocals needs thier hearing checked. And the laughable part is if you listen to thier very old stuff you will realize it is not even her actual voice; she intentionally alters her voice to sound like that.
