@@garydefazio good stuff, I’ve been following her for a while now, she just keeps getting better and better, finally convinced my daughter to try drums after she watched brooke
Would love to see these talented young ladies on a tour that included The Warning. Both are absolutely amazing and are carrying the torch for all female bands today. Moriah has an incredible voice. Glad she has a wonderful band (finally) to support her. ❤️🤘
@Cigarsnguitars I saw Plush 3 times this year and they were great! I also saw The Warning with Pretty Reckless and Halestorm this year and they were also great!
Was at this show. These young women came on and seriously blew me away. High energy, fun and know how to play their instruments!! Some real good refreshing hard rock here!! They are a mix of Joan Jett, Heart, Lita Ford and DRAIN S. T. H. Looking forward to see what is next for them.
Nobody mentions Bella and how well she takes on solos and rhythm on her Ibanez guitar. She's an awesome talent and has a fantastic stage presence. All four fit together perfectly. I wait for Plush CD 2 where I hope the develop their music further. PLush must get the prize for the best newcomer of 2020.🤘👏💪
How is it that we aren't hearing more from them? This is a tight band with some awesome material! The fact that they aren't more well known speaks volumes about the Music business.
It's the music business and I blame there management for not promoting them enough. I've been following them now for more than a year and you hear nothing about them on radio except my local station here in NJ...WDHA, the program director Terry Carr supports them quite fully and gives them much airplay...she also organized a event with the girls over this past summer. Here's a link to the show. Enjoy. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ui45gnFHaos.html Video from that day. Jamming with the ladies. 🖤🖤🖤🖤🎸🥁🎸🎶 🖤🖤🖤🖤AFBM Gary D (GATOR)
@@garydefazio Totally with you on the management part. I'm glad they got to do the Error tour with the Warning, but Im alarmed that they only have a few festival slots for the remainder of the year and no major tours. Granted we're only halfway through the year but it seems odd they are not more frequent on the tour circuit.
I saw this set live at the Riviera in Chicago, they were opening for Slash and Myles Kennedy tour. I never heard of them before, and these young women walked out on the stage and I thought what's this? Wow, I was blown away! I really love the opening pair of songs Athena and Champion. Tons of talent here, can't wait to see and hear more from them! Plush is: Moriah Formica, lead vocal & guitar, Brooke Colucci, drums, Bella Perron, lead guitar, Ashley Suppa, Bass
I'd think she's got a connection that's making BB pants for her...how else could you explain this great style. She's fantastic...love her 🖤🖤🖤🖤🎸🥁🎸🎶 🖤🖤🖤🖤ABBM GARY D
Just discovered these Talented young ladies today in another couple videos. They can bring it for sure.. The bassist is rockin a 70's look. Best cover of Barracuda! The Wilsons sisters would beroud for sure..
I’m 50 and it’s SO awesome to see the Baton passed on! Thank you young ladies for saving the Rock/Metal genre… :) I’m so proud of all 4 of you! When you see God given talent, Ya know it! Plush has it in spades!
Your welcome. I enjoyed doing the video, not bad for a camera phone if I do say myself. I used to shoot a lot of video years ago with professional equipment. Loved doing it and love these ladies. Can't wait to see them again. 🖤🖤🖤🖤🎸🎶🥁🎸 🖤🖤🖤🖤ABBM GARY D
I'm a bass player so I love bass. This bass player trips me out...she's fun to watch...and a damn good player. Rest of band are pretty impressive. Thanks for uploading. I was scanning for The Warning and somehow found this Behemith of a band. Vocalist knocked me out of my water bed...lol...joking...no water bed, but she did knock me out of my high chair! LOL. I mean really, she has super impressive vocals. Wow!
I hope they can continue to write good songs like "Better Off" and several others I've heard from them. Nice to hear melodies in music again and they're so lucky to have a singer 😍😍😍 that can pull them off.
Get it Bella! So awesome to see all of these ladies coming into their own. Brooke will be missed, and she's amazing, but Faith is bringing an energy that I think is taking these guys to another performance level. Just awesome!
@Eric Pymmp... Wellllllll, Faith certainly can play and has brought an energy to the drum riser that wasn't necessarily missing, just a little more raw, a hair unpolished even!!! Nowww, I am not opposed to that type of drumming, I have made a living doing just that type of drumming myself!!! But if I am honest with you and myself ( that part is very important.., ) I always compared myself ( just as I would of Faith.., ) to a "Tommy Lee,"and a body driven drumming style!! That too will take away a little of the technical end of drumming!!! And I would compare "Brooke," her style of drumming, to one of my drumming hero's, "NEIL PEART!!" That type of "technical drumming" requires a bit more focus on the playing of your drums, rather than the "showcasing" stick and body "parlor tricks!!" Yes, there is definitely a place on "All The World's Stages" for both styles and more for that matter!!! Time will tell if "Plush" will continue on their journey, I hope, and very sincerely, that they do, albeit once there is "bad blood" in a band, the kind that creates "rife" between individual members, it almost NEVER gets resolved in an "amicable way," or at least enough for that "underlying issue" to be overlooked and.............. more importantly, ever OVERCOME!!! We will probably not see Brooke sharing the same stage again with this lineup of Plush!!!! Again, I have seen it first hand!!!
@@TheRealBKSchyster I completely agree with your assessment. Brooke is a more seasoned accomplished drummer. Faith has a rougher thing going on, but she is much more fun to watch for sure. So yeah it's apples and oranges. I'm saddened to hear that the split might be due to bad blood, of course that makes me curious as to what happened. Band dynamics and politics cam for sure be a rough road to navigate. I certainly wish only success and happiness for all 5 girls. I'm so happy to see the ladies really starting to show up and take their place in heavy rock music.
These girls are beyond their years Mariah's vocals are just crazy and Brooke on the drums is a monster she doesn't make many mistakes and perfectly keeps the time some of the Phils and double bass especially at the end of hate is crazy
Totally agree...Brooke is only 17...way beyond her time. I see a future career for all of them. Hope to see them accepting a Grammy soon. Love these ladies 🖤🖤🖤🖤 🖤🖤🖤🖤🎸🎶🥁🎸 🖤🖤🖤🖤ABBM GARY D A short clip from the show at the Paramount...see more...subscribe... ru-vid.com
I am so glad as a woman and a female guitarist to hear such power coming from this all female band. Way to represent. Your music has texture. Love it. I was feeling so down today thinking all the females today just wanna sound like B. Spears or C. Aguilera. Feeling so sad for rock. Then somehow I found this channel and this band. I see hope real hope for rock and females who love it as much as I do.
If you like all female rock/metal band, I can suggest you to listen these bands down below : - The Warning (Mexico) - VoB (Indonesia) - Band Maid (Japan) - Nemophilia (Japan) They all totally badass with their musicianship and energetic live stage presence.
They are fantastic and I've met all of them...wonderful personality of the band...looking like they will go far...hopefully the business don't eat them up...they have some smart associations helping them out. They will in my opinion make it to the top. Jamming with the ladies. 🖤🖤🖤🖤🎸🥁🎸🎶 🖤🖤🖤🖤AFBM Gary D (GATOR)
Can't wait for April 30th as I see Plush and The Warning!! Holy Moley!! The House Of Blues will not have a roof left guaranteed. So much talent happening back to back!
Wow what a great performance this is and what a difference I see in a few short months of the first show with Daughtry I see now with plush they just sound amazing 😎🤩 btw great video 📸 Gary
Thanks...saw them in Albany...they were great but this show they were a bit tighter. Can't wait to see them on stage accepting a Grammy. It's gonna happen.
All have great moves but bass player is truly got my attention, never seen a female bass player with such hopping/jumping rhythm, never out of 45 years of playing bass and going to concerts. Love her bass tone a whole lot...it's punchy and sounds like a rolling perpetual boatload of electric growling! Phuuccckkking kick my assss type tone. Ale, bass player of The Warning has really great rhythm and rock moves too, but this young lady here may have Ale beat...not sure yet. Btw, Rush is my #1, The Warning is my #2, and I may have to place Plush as my #3 now. (Sorry Static-X, RIP Wayne Static.)
You all are great talented laddies but I play drums and saw Brooke years back on utube playing awsome from home so I think she is a killer drummer. To all of you 💐 ❤ 🌹
Gary......Thanks for sharing this! Well Done! I have followed Brooke and Moriah for a long time! I have a feeling we will be hearing from these ladies for a long time!! What a BAND! Thanks again!
I discovered Plush after watching Brooke Colucci playing some great old tunes. She is one of the most incredible drummers I have ever seen. It's ashame that she's not with Plush anymore. This band is destined for great places!
I must've watched this concert like some 10 times by now and the performances still keep on giving me chills at how good they were that night! Plush are truly an exceptional group of musicians and it is amazing how underrated they are and why are people sleeping on this band! Moriah really channels Ann Wilson perfectly during her Barracuda cover but for me the show stoppers are the opener Athena and Better Off Alone! Thank you Gary for introducing me to this band since this concert you uploaded was my first time hearing their music and seeing them perform! Plush Rocks!
I love these ladies, so much talent. Made my love for music once again. I've been disappointed many years. Reminds me of early Heart...and I've loved Stevie even before her and Lindsay joined with FM. I believe I have an ear for talent...they have a chemistry only Walter White wound understand.
What kind of bass is that? I've tried to see who endorses her, but I get nothing. The headstock is definitely a Fender, but I've never seen that body style before. I love it.
Ashley girl.. 🤔you’ve been working on your craft :) YES! Your chops are just getting better & better and better! You Rock Ashley🤘🎸🎼 I love watching professional musicians that drop their egos & continually work on their craft to get better as their careers move forward, it’s so awesome! 🤩
@@meatwad1 Yup, I have listened to her music on RU-vid. (Music is in her genetics) As a bass guitar player myself; she’s come along with her playing and technique. She’s still extremely young & her ceiling is still a mile high. So her playing is only going to get better and better as more time goes bye. I wish Brooke was still playing their drummer. (I have a pretty good idea as to why she’s still not with them) However, until Brooke comes out and tells us? (I’m certainly not going post a comment on an assumption) It’s tough, because I really like Plush, but a became a Plush fan because of Brooke’s drumming. Are they working on a new album?
@@meatwad1 No, of course I don’t feel that way towards Faith, the show must go on. They’re a very young Rock Band 🎸 trying to bring the best music in the world back to the mainstream. Have you been in recording studios’s before? Because I get the feeling by the way you speak and present yourself, that you’re extremely smart and are very knowledgeable when it comes to music and the production of music.
@@meatwad1 I agree 100% with you, I really want to see them become huge. I, like yourself want to see guitar driven music back in the forefront. As far as the Brooke thing goes; she brought a lot of her own fans to that band. (Like myself) We don’t know if she left or she was let go? I do know this; usually if there’s stress about the drum parts in recording studio for whatever the reasons? (Hmm, the drummer doesn’t particularly like what the producer wants or they can’t play a certain parts. (We have to keep in mind these women are still extremely young and are still learning their craft. The days of a label signing you and letting you develop of a couple of years like Chicago (Led Zeppelin is a bad example because Jimmy and John were already established first call studio musicians) Anyways, it’s usually the drummer that quits first. (You’d be surprised how many times they’ll call a studio musician to play on the album and though they’re not getting any credit on the album, the person that they’re filling in for doesn’t like it and either they work it out and the band gets better, collectively. The band says we need to move on, or the musician in the band leaves. I don’t know if that’s what happened with Brooke? (Brooke could have just been home sick? She comes from a very sheltered home) then to go on the road, in still a male dominated world. (Especially playing the type of music Plush plays) can be difficult for an 18 year old kid! No, I don’t think it’s because she has a boyfriend that’s a Jazz drummer. I think it was a recording issue and or the lifestyle of the road? I don’t know 🤷♀️ I’m sure we’ll eventually find out. But I agree with everything you said!
@@meatwad1 I’ll give you an example of my stupidity! I grew up a huge Sabbath fan with both Ozzy and then Dio. (I was also a Dio fan before and after Sabbath) Anyways, I didn’t go see their final tour because Bill Ward wasn’t playing drums. (I don’t know how a band says it’s the classic lineup when the founding drummer isn’t playing drums, but whatever) So I didn’t go to see them and I regret it. Did Tommy Clufetos sound like Bill Ward? Not even close! Tommy Clufetos is a great Heavy Metal drummer! The problem is, Bill Ward is not a Heavy Metal drummer so his tone is much brighter and less compressed. Totally different sound, totally! But that decision caused me to miss seeing Geezer Butler live and Tony Iommi live! (Who I’ve never seen live believe it or not) Two legends and Tony being the riff master and vibrato King that he is! I’ve seen Ozzy many times so no big deal concerning him. Unfortunately, Sharon Osborn didn’t want to pay Bill Ward (a founding father) his fair share of revenue sharing! (When they put the band together back in 1968-69 without Bill Ward) There is no Black Sabbath! My lesson was go see your favorite band even if one founding member isn’t playing with them. I’m debating seeing gNr because of no Izzy Stradlin. Is the guy that they have playing Izzy’s parts good? Yes, he’s good! But he’s not Izzy Stradlin! I mean, Izzy wrote a lot of gNr hits. I think in Izzy’s case? He didn’t want to go on the road. Besides, he’s a millionaire anyways so why bother? It would have been nice to see him hook up with his childhood friend, Axle Rose but it is what it is. I’ll probably go see them.
@@meatwad1 I really have no interest. (I listen to so many podcasts) Especially historical and sports podcasts. So, if you don’t mind sharing? Just tell me… if you don’t want to share? I understand, it’s cool 😎
Chills. Mark my words - the voice of the next decade in Rock above JinJer. I thought for sure American Rock was fucking dead. Thank these women for killing it and dragging it home.
