Could very well be. Hell, other than an appearance at a festival in India, I’m still trying to uncover evidence of a world tour some speak of. Maybe signing with a booking agency will get them an international tour that includes North America and Europe. I wonder though if Liliac has the logistics and deep pockets required to pull that off. I’m not sure how well-known they are overseas.

@@rockrap6240 Pfft. Back in the day that happened quite often that you would go and watch them not knowing who they were. It is how bands quite often got attention and new fans. Especially if they did not have an awesome top record label that would sell songs to all the radio DJ's to play over and over again. And was one reason why record labels funded concerts to begin with, as they did not make lot of money off the concerts but off the sales of records which would hopefully be the result of gaining more attention at all the various city location concerts. Sure being well known helps, but it is not everything. Will they appeal to overseas market is a bigger question. First album not so much imho, but their latest one, possibly.

@@kevinfisher1345 Here’s how I see their situation. Times have obviously changed and so has the music industry. Liliac really needs the backing of a major record label if they want to advance their career. They are also in dire need of a new management team. As to their overseas appeal, your guess is as good as mine, though I have my suspicions. But before venturing overseas, they best take care of the home front first. Playing concerts in small venues to small crowds of mostly older fans is not a recipe for long term success.

@@rockrap6240 They have played to a couple of large concerts and crowds. Twice that I can recall. Plus having played on major TV shows. But that has been a few years ago now, and yes they need to stay current and fresh in people's mind and in the lime light. Which leads to... They have a new contract with a leading concert management company called TKO. This should help get them some better concerts as well as a tour in Europe. They have been hinting at possibly getting to do some shows in Europe soon, and this is obviously what they were talking about with having talks with TKO and have finally made it official. "Times have obviously changed and so has the music industry." Agreed, it is now less important to have such contracts. Although still much tougher to break into success without, it is at least more possible to do so now. Tons of youth do not even listen to radio anymore. Social media is becoming more prominent for artists including musicians. This means they do not need the backing of a major record label like musicians once used to. Or at least there is a chance to be done without these days. Unlike it was decades ago.

@@kevinfisher1345 Out of curiosity sake, do concert managers/booking agents generally provide substantial financial assistance to signed acts? Who covers the tour bus and driver, fuel, food, equipment rental, road crew, other logistical expenses, etc.? Plus I imagine the booking agent gets a cut of whatever the profits are. I think the backing of a major record label would be very advantageous to their bottom line. A case in point. In June 2023, Muse invited The Warning to tour Europe with them. The band also performed a number of headlining shows of their own in nine countries, and played in some of the biggest rock festivals. I bet that got to be rather expensive. It was also very grueling. Thankfully, the band has the backing of a major U.S. record label and the largest Patreon page by far of any band, with more than 3,300 paying members. The Warning also has three international booking agencies. Their June tour exposed the band to hundreds of thousands of potential new fans and was instrumental in them returning to Europe in April 2024 for a month-long stay that will see them headline 19 shows in nine countries. Ticket demand is so high that the band has had to rebook to larger venues. Nearly all of their shows are already sold out. Then they’ll be heading back to Germany in August, as the band has been invited to play at the Wacken Open Air Festival. Anyway, if Liliac does get their first European tour, it will be interesting to see how well it works out. It would be of great help if they could somehow snag an opening gig for a name band. I guess we’ll see soon enough.

An its not major. It's only a booking agency to help concert venues. It died out in the 80s.as most rock did. An the other. Soo called metal bands zoned out in the 90.s. up to the yr 98.99

Signing with a big time booking agent. Announcement seemed pretty obscure.

The only member of Liliac that will have a musical career is Sam.

She is a one trick pony , she sings every song the same with the same hoarse voice and cadence , The guitar player Sam is the only truly super talented Musician in this group. The rest are all avg players .

@@hardknox1917 A one trick pony with a unique tone and voice. Singing is instantly recognizable and sounds like no other. Those are qualities that Simon looks for, and why he was interested on his show. Because he knows it can sell. Of course it is the same voice, what do you want, her to have a different voice or sound different at times? That does not even make sense. Every good singer has the same voice and cadence. It is called developing their own style. IF they have a different voice all the time they sing, they are not any good. And likely are just trying to mimic or sound like someone else.

@@kevinfisher1345 she sings every song with the same melody and cadence and rythym , she does not know how to switch up her styles for different songs . Hoarse voice gets very tiring to the ear . If she was so spectacular she would be a platinum selling artist on a record label , but she’s not ! She’s just singing and playing county fairs and small venues that are not sold out ! You and few thousand people may like her but the majority does not . They are generic and corny af bro .
