The great thing about Chanel lip is they all seem to be actually TRULY flattering for all skin tones. They have genius color creators and they damn well better with that price tag. I have an odd light olive/neutral skin, and I can blind buy and know that Chanel will look fantastic. Hence, the price tag. But I’ve not been let down even once yet, and so I love it! I save my points at Ulta and it’s “free” every time. 😊
My daughter is a cool olive (I'm Irish, her Dad is Italian), and buying for her breaks all the normal olive complexion rules. Though with her green / hazel eyes she can get away with most eyes colours.
This looks so pretty on you! I feel like the artist mixed a couple things with this on Lily because it definitely looked more like there was a dab of pinky peach and maybe a bit of concealer in the center of her lip

I bought the Chanel lipstick and the wear on it isn’t the greatest especially for the price. The Catrice power plumping gel lipstick in, “010 my lips! My rules!” is very similar in texture and the color is nearly identical, I would say less pink and more nude than Chanel Boy. But I’ve worn both side by side and couldn’t tell the difference. Much cheaper so I choose to wear Catrice 😊

You will never ever EVVVVVVVER catch me buying a $42 lipstick. I couldn’t in good conscience. Yesterday I went into a Mexican restaurant to ask for a virgin piña colada. They handed me a small styrofoam cup and the ticket. It was $13.99. I left, got in the car, took 2 sips and then turned around and went back inside to get my money back. A small 8 oz piña colada with ZERO alcohol in it has no business costing $14.00. Not when I can get a drink WITH alcohol somewhere else for $7. It honestly pissed me off.
I actually think that the lipstick looks better on fairer skin tones like yours. As someone with medium skin, this would look a bit odd with my undertones
I had the same shade of lipstick back in my jr year of high school (1993 / 1994) , literally cost me $8 and it was by Revlon, gorgeous shade but $46 is highway robbery and I was convinced $8 was expensive back then 😂😂😂😂😂
