I think numy is just socially anxious and afraid of doing something "out of place/time" resulting in an akward moment and that's why she does all this planning for this moment of vulnerability, she just needs a bit more confidence and find a dating partner that is patient and willing to explain all the intricacies of relationships

Cotton is currently staying at her place and while Numi was on stream asked her out again at chat's request (Cotton still has a thing for Numi) but Numi is so distrustful of being asked out that she tried to shut it down again. Chat had to make sure that Cotton got through to Numi that it was a REAL DATE If they actually go out on a real romantic date, I think it will be very different than what Numi has in her head that it isn't anything to fret over. Only real problem is if Cotton gets horny she could blow it. Numi did meet a guy off of Tinder but those dates are typically bad as while you might match physically the two rarely match mentally. And Numi being so insecure only stated matter of fact things and looked disinterested and didn't pick up on the fact he was a little into her. Numi needs patience and understanding on the part of another as she is going to hide the fact that she will be incredibly nervous the whole time. She also needs to catch up on years of dating as a teen and young adult. I also think if she has sex to early before anyone makes her feel safe and secure she could become a very needy girlfriend as she is an introvert and would be very anxious and insecure. That could be problematic as she is a public figure and could accidentally wreak a massive trail of upset and drama

This thing happens to me a lot too. I sometimes realise that people with "regular lives" see or experience things in a very different way. I feel like I live in a different world but surrounded with people that think I'm the same as them. And I'm not.
I mean, I never want to see her get hurt. At the same time, she kinda needs the opposite of shielding. It's taken years for her to get to a place where she's starting to realize that in so many ways she's quite a catch. Now all she needs to do is go out there and pretty much pick almost any single guy that she wants.

I think the US would be in a massively better place if schools offered well constructed courses in starting and maintaining healthy intimate relationships. Won't happen in my lifetime though. This place is pretty messed up.

Well... it's kind of understandable, given how the subject of consent has been for a while now in the social media space, with guys especially having to second, triple, and then quadruple guess everything. So if you told me some men and women these days think they need to endlessly acquire new permissions in an already established relationship, I could believe it.
