The worst part of girlfailure is that it makes sense from her point of view as being super nervous, but if I was the dude, she is giving every single flag that she wants nothing to do with you and he responded perfectly normally.

Naw man, this is worse than girl failure. This is human failure. She is literally failing to interact with anyone who takes genuine romantic interest in her. Or anytime an extremely attractive stranger tries to make conversation, she drops the ball hard enough to crack the earth in two.

Because it's ACTUALLY embarrassingly awkward. It's all well and good to constantly joke about Numi being single because she's a dorky weirdo Vtuber, but since she's so open and funny and confident on stream we tend to think "Well, in reality, she probably just isn't interested in a relationship until she's at a more settled stage in her life, like normal single people", but THIS is genuine social incompetence that would obviously turn off any potential partner. It is legitimately insane how much self-sabotage was described just in this one, brief story.

It sounds more like lying for the content and the aura of cute dork. Numi even said that she was close to have an intercourse once (was in a bedroom with a guy), but she was not ready. I can't understand how she can be oblivious so many times like in the video above, and YET be able to go so far as the almost-intercourse situation.

@@piotr004 He was one of her only boyfriends from high school and it wasn’t just she wasn’t ready. It was that whenever anyone tried to become intimate with her, she’d fuck up the mood somehow. The guy in question was just trying to make out with her and she chose that moment to make some sort of joke she found funny. Even she knew it killed the mood. Her first kiss story, she called her dad right in front of the guy, SECONDS after she kissed him, for a ride home. Despite what some people believe, there are people this awkward. Numi happens to be one of them. I’ve said this before over the years but she’s just like Steve Carrell in “40-year Old Virgin”.

It’s clearly a comfort thing. And meeting anyone from an app is anything but comfortable.

@@soapsatellite I absolutely am. Numi graduated from college with a degree in communications, I wanna say 2 years ago. She took a 2-week break to get ready for finals right after her grandma passed. Mad respect for her sticking it out and getting the degree in spite of her grief. We give her shit but she earned that degree.
