Lily Tomlin wins 1986 Tony Award for Best Actress in a Play 

I saw this show in New York in the front row. It was the most extraordinary performance and I have never forgotten it. Well Done to Lily and the brilliant Jane Wagner for incredible writing.

There is no way in hell that Lily would ever forget Jane!!!

Never saw this dhow but believing Tomlin in any way a better actor that Tandy on any stage in any regard is blind. Her chest was heaving she was so worried and excited.
