@@Imieitrenimodello thanks! Yes, it really looks nice with the Corbellini coaches.. I'm pleased I've got three of them now, plus the two Lima model 1946 they make up a nice Castano-Isabella train.
Not only a gorgeous Italian train - but could this train, E424 & Corbellini wagons, be considered the most iconic rolling stock/train set of FS? Of course, it's not a contest, but there are always certain things with a "stronger" image or symbolistic than others. Thanks for the video, Patrick, have a good week!
@@Cristake1974 I think the beauty of this train lies in the combination of 1940s and immediate postwar styling. It represents a universe where everything moved at a slower pace. Yes, the "treno dei desideri" in Adriano Celentano's Song Azzurro is definitely hauled by an E424 and made up of Corbellini coaches.
