Direct TV destroyed?? That was a Christmas miracle bro! How about opening your mind instead and reading the Bible more often!?!? Now I'm taking my own advice as it's been over a month for me...God bless and keep making good hunting videos that my family will watch! Merry Christmas and God bless America!!
The only way to make it critter proof is run all your wiring in steel conduit that way they can't chew through it.I was an cable installing contractor for many years.
Or use BX cable(mc cable) on all exposed Romex and you can just buy the BX sheathing to wrap exposed cable in. It’s critter proof and not near as hard to run and it’s not rigid like conduit...just a suggestion. Merry Christmas!
They are smarter than you'd expect, every time I get the gun they know what's coming. Tho I hate to admit I only bury in compost pile instead of eating them like a real man.
@@andrewvu1752 I know it but I'm not about to go to that trouble just yet. I rarely kill them, don't like doing it but then they have completely wasted ALL my pecans and walnuts last couple yrs plus turning my raised beds into a moonscape digging holes to bury nuts that later sprout and need to be weeded out. Pisses ya off after a while.
Merry Christmas to everyone out there here from Australia, I hope everyone has a wonderful day but if i may just inform people who did not know Australia right now is faced with a catastrophic natural disaster, parts of Australia have been on fire now for months and many many families have lost there homes, so far this fire season over 1000 homes have been lost in Australia and people are really doing it tough and people have died, parents all across Australia wont be returning to there families for Christmas they are out fighting to save others so if i can just ask you all as you sit down for your Christmas dinners to just give a prayer for those who are doing it tough not just here in Australia but around the world and for those who don't have a house for Christmas, and also give a prayer for those hero's who wont be with there loved ones for Christmas but instead are risking there lives saving others lives and homes, even if you aren't a religious person just keep them in your thoughts if you can, its not much but every little thing helps. Thank you and have a Merry Christmas.
Something about fixing that electrical cable and watching the fittings go on perfectly is quite satisfying to watch. It's awesome when an unplanned plan comes together.
Here it is christmas eve got up this morning and went hunting. Sitting in my blind and saw nothing but squirrels until a big 8 point walked out! Shot him with my crossbow using Rage hypodermic broadheads at 20 yards. Biggest buck ive ever killed! Love your videos and would like to see some more crossbow hog hunting and a tour of your new home! God bless and MERRY CHRISTMAS
When I was a kid in West Virginia .at Thanksgiving my grandmother told me I was eating Turkey. After I ate it she told me the truth it was squirrel. Was good lol
I love you guys. You brought tears to my eyes. THE CORN......My Father use to go to the mill and pick up spilled corn on the ground with their permission and thanks. He would then take the buckets of corn...(.after a heavy snow fall).... out in the country and clear a path to pile the corn on. I ask him when l came home one time....why???? It would be cold and snowing....he said gotta feed the pheasants.....they can't get to the food with all the snow cover. One man....many buckets...and bags of corn.....feeding the wild animals he hunted. After all these years since he has passed....you said that at the beginning of your video...YOU FEED THE WILDLIFE. When l was little l still remember....him taking me squirrel hunting with my Uncle and Grandfather. Hunting....means different things to people....to me....it is the MEMORIES. God Bless YOU and YOUR Family. 🍃♥️🕊
I grew up with a .22 or 12 guage in my hands, thinning squirrel and rabbit, raccoon and grouse, deer, and groundhog on our family ranch everyday after school. So, I thoroughly enjoyed this video!
I'm a Somalian guy who lives in the suburbs. Never hunted or even been out doors. This guy is so entertaining that he can literally make videos that anyone can watch them. I'm binge watching man keep up the great content!!!!
My family loves and appreciates your family and your channel, Rob. Been here since 2013. We want a tour of the house the OG subscribers built. God bless!
I own an Auto Repair shop and I can't tell you how many times customer's cars are put out of service because of ' Limb Rats". They get under hoods and destroy the wiring. As you said, they don't eat the plastic but they do use the wire cover for nesting. Love your Videos. During my relaxing time, I'll watch several of your Videos. God Bless.
Me and my son were talking today. He had a recommendation and I agreed. We want to see racoon catch, clean, & cook. Never tried one no idea what it's like. We enjoy your channel as a family. Keep it up.
Robert: "How many of yall think I should make a Silver Stag pocket knife Deer Meat For Dinner edition?" Me: You mean you don't already plus you even have to ask that question?!?!?!?!?! (My eyes bug out...)
@@Fremanscum One for the bug out bag. One for the EDC. One to give to Dad... and so on and so on. Honestly though, probably too nice and too bulky for a bug out bag. I usually pack two knives in mine. One is a SOG SlimJim (w/lanyard), the other is a box cutter with the replaceable rectangular razor blades with a couple of extra blades. But I would more than likely have my EDC blade on me as well, anyway...
I think your one of the last outdoor channels left that does not cut out the actual shooting and field dressing part👍👍 gotta get myself one of them stag knives.
I don't know about TV coax cable, but we've had issues with squirrels chewing through the wires in the car. The general consensus is that the plastic coating is a corn-based plastic, so the squirrels like it. They never seem to go after wires in the older vehicles.
I do mine just like yours. After I parboil 'em, I soak them in a buttermilk/egg mixture, roll them in seasoned flour and fry them up. I then put them back in the pan, take the parboil broth and make a gravy. cook down the fried pieces in the gravy. Serve them up with some cheese grits and homemade cathead biscuits. Lip lickin' good...
They like the rubber on some wires and hoses because when some rubber and silicone products are made they use a biproduct from fishoil production (fatty oils) in the rubber. When i worked as a mechanic for Fiat I changed a couple of intercooler hoses every week.
Merry Tex-Mas. Thanks for all the joy you have shared through out the past =years. I've enjoyed seeing your journey all the way. "Peace, Love & happiness through out 2020.
You love Robert's channel. I live vicariously through this. Lol I was born and raised in south Florida. I've been in Tennessee for 40 years now. This show has a special meaning to me So he and BlueGabe
I love everything you do with your family. I grew up and lived on block island. I tried to live off the land and teach my children how the land will take care of you take care of your environment. It was a great place to live and raise a family we had ducks, pheasant, geese, deer, fresh &saltwater fish,softshell/hardshell clams it was a gift from GOD and then the INVESTORS showed up I've rammeld on I love what you're doing. One last comment my wife and I and my kids used to sit down at the Thanksgiving table and know that EVERYTHING on that table was provided by us ,nothing store bought P.T.L.
I don't know if you can use traps for em, but get some old newspaper tubes and some 120 Conibear traps. Mount the tubes on trees with peanut butter for bait. Cut slots for the trap springs and crank them up or down to lock it in. You'll clean them out in no time!)
Aw man, I have been waiting for the house tour even before y'all poured the slab! What a year for you and your family Robert! Many blessings and a Merry Christmas to you and yours! Love ya bud!
Hey Robert, I'm a new subscriber. I gotta tell you man, your channel is great. Anyone that has anything derogatory to say about hunting needs to watch you. Nothing goes to waste that you harvest. I have a lot of videos to catch up on. Stay safe man! 🦌
Great video Rob.........And, do a video tour of your new home. Be great to see a video of your gator being mounted at the taxidermist if one exists. I did see your video of you catching it with Mr. Can Cooker! We need more of Cliff B. and Joey H. !!!!!
Fried is the way to go with squirrels mate. Soaked overnight in salt water, dried out and deep fried. The younger the better too. Old boars are usually pretty tough. Love your show mate.
