Jubilaum: 45 Jahre Musikverein Limbach - Saturday 18 July
The grand finale of the concert on the Saturday night saw all the bands combine to play a selection of songs, including:
Mama Mia; Rockford Files; Shrek Dance Party; Instant Concert; Hootenanny
Featuring: Musikverin Limbach; The Rainbow Concert Band; and Friends.
Conducted by: Claudia Walder-Jenne; Malcom Bevan; Simon Willis

The tune is called “Manhattan anthem” and that sound is a great memory Friday evenings with another episode of one the most well done shows to ever appear on the small screen! James Garner was one class act!

Loved that.although some sections of the orchestra are still trying to catch up with the brass section

I seem to remember that the conductor had to tell the brass section, in particular the trombones to stop running ahead on a few of the other peices 🤣

This was a great arrangement and performance! Another good thing to see is "Styx - Fooling Yourself" with the CYO.

Fabulous arrangement of this classic! Gives the theme a kind of grand, Aaron Copland-ish Western feel. Wouldn't it have been cool, though, if they'd mimicked the original's Minimoog patch with orchestral instruments? Like doubling the brass with piccolo, for example, to get that high whistling tone :-)

@@kendallrivers1119 Kids ? Look again, most of the performers were adults, and I have a right to my own opinion ....The bass drum was too intrusive, the tune drifted in and out of key, and the instruments clashed.
