FYI you need to get 3 signs by helping people in need in the W3 dungeon and use Sinclair in this fight to trigger it.

Notes that I used for the fight:
ineffective blunt
Must win the 2 4 coin skill with 2 egos - else stagger Roach or paper wings
Must win stagger skill with whale girl
slash and piece
hot
Use egos during fatal scenes
Focus maul
slash and blunt
very hot
Whale girl for Clash singles + ensure ego up for stagger
Black and White for Clash multy + damage + reset if staggered
Roach for tanking gaze piece; prioritize water if low
Paper wings for tanking piece and water generation
Veteran for tanking slash + damage + clash single 50/50
