One cool detail in Limbus is that you can actually see which area of the Lobotomy Corp Branch Facility you are exploring because the colors of the walls match the colors of the areas in this game

If danganronpa stressed you out then Lob Corp would probably make you want to throw your entire computer into a concept incinerator. However I do reconmend watching the game's cutscences before you start playing Ruina.

2:00 Don't force yourself to play a game that you feel you might not have fun with. A game is meant to be fun, and everyone has their genre of game they don't like. Lobo Corp is a very demanding game and can get very stressful, you're absolutely fine with just looking up the memes and lore of L Corp.

Lobotomy Corp. is truly an experience of a game. When I first played it I just gave up around day 23-24 because of how hard it was. I only came back to try again years later because of Ruina, started over from scratch and now I'm about 80% through the story at day 40. The malding is part of the experience.

7:00 The game is, by all means, incredibly difficult & stressful. But if you REALLY want it give yourself PTSD, this thing is probably what's given most players just that... Hope you check out the sequel video too!

It looks like a lot, but if you're doing it right basically nothing happens. If everything goes horribly wrong? That's fine, you can restart the day, or the week, or the game. Those are essential mechanics to the game. If you grab a piece of scrap paper, you can even just right down work results so you don't have to spend the points unlocking the type knowledge through trial and error, so you can unlock the much more vital managerial tips. Genuinely, the game is very manageable. Unless things, well, spiral. That's why we have restarts, though, so it's totally fine.

Ah yes arcangela a classic

It is scary at first but you just learn and become better, like in any game. The more you know, craft equipment, lvl up people, the less problems you have. At some point you're just a masochist. Hardest shit is not even present in this video. Some core supressions (Geb, Binah, Hokma) are brutal, White Night boss (straight ends your run if you picked it up, so restart the whole game, without a plan and gear there is no chance to beat it and it holds the strongest weapon in the game), Apoc Bird (not as bad, 3 different teams at the same time, watch them closely and escape when in trouble and it's easy), Midnight ordeal (i feared only violet midnight, this one is stressful, but all of them must be approached carefully). I remember that for slime girl (melted love) you must kill all your workers (clerks) in department to work with her without accidents. Nothing There comes home pretty early on (it appears in abno pull around mid game) and without strong gear cannot be stopped, at the same time later on high lvl worker can work with it without any problems. Blue Star (legs abno) is a black hole, it deals all screen damage and sucks people who lost their sanity, with right people working with it never escapes. Scarecrow escapes all the time, it doesn't like high lvl people working on it, gladly it's very weak if not in early days (then you fucked). Train abno want you to pick tickets every 30 seconds, if you don't, well, it's either gg or it misses everything (it crosses trough your screen in random place and runs people over). Panicking people spread sanity dmg, it snowballs fast into everyone is panicking, you must beat them with white dmg (person becomes playable again) before they kill themselves.

theres more to this game then just malding, its about the sense of accomplishment of finally figuring how each abno works and getting better at suppressing them and clearing a difficult task thrown your way when you had trouble with it before. it'll take trial and error but thats the way most management sims work I guess, no shame in trying again, its expected! this is also the video that introduced me to lob corp , and its just as entertaining with your reactions lol but anyways I seen some comments recommend watching lob corp cutscenes at least before getting into runia and yeah, would be nice to see your reactions to that, the story really is amazing to see in its entirety

Finally, an ArcAngela review! Glad you loved it! And, yeah, don't bother playing through LobCorp if you don't wont to. A big piece of a fandom never did it anyway. I have to say one thing tho. Library of Ruina have an easier start, but it is STILL hella difficult, with a couple of difficulty spikes (something something every third of the game). Lead gamegesigner either completely mental, either powered through our collective suffering.

Every abnormality in Lobotomy Corp is a puzzle that needs juggling, and that's where the fun is, imo - figuring out which ones can be used and which ones exact a terrible price. And there are so many. My favorites are Do Not Touch and Bald Is Beautiful for how off the wall they are. And my most feared is the Plague Doctor. You literally don't get any real plot until a decent way into the game.

Suffering builds character

Although I forgot who told me this, the thing that I learned about Lobotomy Corporation is that the actual design of the game, anomalies, and characters are intentional parts of the lore. The employees/characters look like chibis so the “player character” won't grow attached to said employees and the design of the anomalies is their way to “filter out” the chaos of how nightmarish and horrifying they truly look to keep the “player character” from going insane (although insanity will still happen). For example, the “Nothing There” you’re seeing is like a blurred-out version, while every other employee is seeing what it actually looks like. Edit: (from the Wiki) The Cognition Filter is a filter that can be installed on a display to change what's being seen, in the game, we have one installed on the monitors of our office, if you thought the game was already gruesome, you're not even seeing the real thing, everything is distorted to not ruin the manager's mental health, abnormalities are way, way worse looking that they are in-game, and there's one abnormality that literally needs to be censored on the display, even with the filter. So basically (almost) EVERYTHING you're seeing is a lie...but it's for your safety...mostly...

Gotta watch the second part It gets better

When i saw this video for the 1st time it was also the 1st time saw the game to the point that convince me to play it. Yes a meme video made me play a game of all thing. This game get harder on day 21 becaused that where the real shit start. Why? That the point where you unlock the condition to do core supression AKA boss fight. Would recomend to watch Lobotomeme corp 2 if you are curious about some of the boss fight there is -1 becasued we dont talk about it.

This was pretty much my reintroduction to project moon since I forgot about Lobotomy after playing the first version

man this sht is hard, ive done so many things that now my friends consider me a masochist, i thought my patience was limitless, ive done like probably 5 runs of lobotomy corp up until day 48 max, restarted one more time to try getting 100%.... bro i got stuck couldnt get past binah meltdown, i knew like the back of my hand the information of every single abnormality but i wasnt fast enough. its been like 2 years since i last played, the projectmoon brainrot hit so hard i still remember most of the managerial guidelines for everything but now i cant read what a passive does, i can testify to the library of ruina fans cant read meme X"D once you eventually learn the game, nothing happens, maybe a first warning here and there but easy to deal with. the first time experience is slightly hard with the occasional slap to the face and middle finger (for example getting Nothing there early on, just like in the video lmao) most of those slaps come from lack of knowledge, you know gotta keep trying and failing til u get the hang of it so eventually u wont get slapped that often. There are many ways to save the run like going back to a checkpoint some days back, keeping the ego equipment you gained but getting rid of its abnormality so u dont have to deal with it and so on. it can be a bit grindy tho. The literal hell and where most of the memes comes from is the journey of getting to day 50 (basically getting the 100% at that point). oh and probably worth to shoutout my boy "biblically accurate angel but is actually satan" who triggers third warning inmediatly and is also a needy boi that if u dont give him attention he breaks out and the bird homies with their gang of the smol bird, the long bird and the fat bird (he often gets stuck between doors, dont judge him). overall an eye closing experience 10/10 wont press the button ever again

not so fun fact: Melting Love (the slime hentai) has the most R34 on Rule 34, second is Queen of Hatred (the Magical Girl)

If you ever play the game my dude this game is alot of trial and error but this game gives you a retry function but if you ever feel frustrated take a break and to say the least if you get stuck with an abnormality that's giving your problems you can get rid of it

This game is notorious for being difficult, it’s all about learning how to micromanage… and some missions require you to breach abnormalities to fight them…
