Imagine yourself in a scenario, and a guy that could potentially kill you, and is going on a rampage against the city. Appears infront of you you would be scared as well right?
I can believe. We're talking about the guy who went on a massacre killing anyone he thought vaguely could have been involved in his wife's death, then went to the library, killed tons of people for Angela, including his old friends, all for a chance to justify killing her, not to mention everything that happens in the finale regarding him. I get the library is after their chance encounter, but this dude did not play. Also, I am unsure if Vergilius had E.G.O when he met Roland either. I haven't read enough of Leviathan to know if that is feasible.
Roland may not necessarily be the strongest fighter in the City, but him having a perception blocking mask definitely makes him a terrifying guy to make an enemy out of. If he doesn't manage to kill you today, he can just slip back into the shadows or into a crowd and try again the next day. Over and over and over again until he eventually gets you. So yeah, I can see why even Vergilius would be scared of him. Especially since it was before he awakened his E.G.O.
I like to think Vergilius watched dante lead the crew well so far up to this point and decided "You know what? It's been a while since I've gotten to do something, I'll see how good Dante is at leading for myself" and this is the result
I don’t think they will. Given that we’re already at the point where we’re actually killing Kromer in mirror dungeons instead of having Damien save us, I don’t think that the Kromer fight will be getting changed anytime soon.
@@AbsurdMundanity I actually think the MD fight of Kromer isnt actually accurate to how strong Kromer actually was, cause the MD version is missing her regeneration passive and shit, Mephistopheles is able to manage to get the individuals and stuff we faced off as manifestations of the MDs only cause it resonates with the engine the golden boughs and the head of the manager of what they experienced, meaning that the MDs are only able to replicate what little we saw of Kromer's strenght, which wasnt fully all there was to her in reality in her fight. For something its missing its regeneration in the MDs, for something when we Defeat Kromer in the MDs she dies, its an incomplete mirror version of her builded with what little we saw, in the actual Kromer fight of Canto III, we did saw that the mf was toying with us, she wasnt taking the fight fully seriously letting herself be hurted just to go like "ooh noooo, you defeated meee~ whatever will i do~..." only to later on just fucking regenerate her missing limbs and everything IN MEREE SECONDS and with just swinging her arms she is able to send ALL US 12 SINNERS and Dante out of the mountain and flying through the air, people dont realize just how strong she may have actually been, she has been the strongest distortion we faced so far just that Kromer's sadistic nature made it so she started the distorted fight very calmly and jokingly, Cause fun fact, Dongbaek with her sunshower Ego was only a Teth danger dispite having putted an entire Corp in danger, Dongrang was only a Teth distortion, Papa Bongy was only Zayin, and Hindley's distortion was only a Teth, Kromer's distortion so far has been the only HE level distortion we faced on in battle, and she wasnt going all out till the very last moment and as we saw she wiped our asses no diff when she locked in, as to why she would go easy on us at first and let herself be hurted and almost killed so easily and waiting on regenerating? well, to bring Sinclair to the brinks of despair, by giving him false hope in that he can win only to take it away in mere seconds so to further fuel his mental breakdown, by giving him this false sense of victory only to learn that he wasnt even anywhere close to overcoming the mountain. This is what i think is a fun terrifying fact not many actually consider or think of Kromer, just how actually powerful she was with us, and the fact that we each time are only facing a cocky limited version in the MDs, a mere shadow of what she actually was capable of doing.
