Watching this video helped me realize something. His corrosion voice line for his new ego is actually a reference to poem number one of Crow's Eye View. "(For the road a blocked alley is appropriate.)" -Poem no. 1, Yi Sang's Crow's Eye View "As a matter of fact, the Alley is an open one." -Yi Sang's Dimension Shredder corrosion voice line
Yeah and it changes the meaning and the horror of the poem entirely. It’s pretty clever. The alley being blocked means that tragedy is inevitable. The alley in truth not being blocked means that the tragedy is only presented as being inevitable when it’s really avoidable. Which is very appropriate for a abno of W Corp’s sins: of pretending that the thousand years of suffering is a necessary component of its warp technology when in truth they only make the passengers go through so to it to extract value
The strat of using corrosion to get around gaze is honestly ingenious. I say this not in relation to this video specifically, but in relation to almost every Kromer solo video I've seen.
i just discovered this older video "When Yi Sang gets a charge/rupture ID this EGO will become insane." Why not both? Seriously, W Sang is stupidly overpowered on rupture teams. 7Ryoshu, 7Cliff, 7Faust, 7Outis, W Sang, Red Sheet, and K Hong Lu absolutely eviscerate everything.
Is it just me or does this Dimensional Shredder give absolutely no charge. I got the passive unlocked, but I literally never see any charge come from it. Like is the passive broke?
Top and bottom corrosion skills each target different skill slots, so I was checking if any clash with Kromer's 'Purify' , just in case Yi Sang doesn't stagger her.
Twice now ive commented something, then actually looked up what it was, and had to scroll alllll the way through my history to delete my comment cuz it was wrong gawd dang it.
@@galxu8164 i dont know what to tell you, they’re hardly viable. section 4 yi sang? not even that good. plus you have outis blade lineage? just isnt good
imo people are kind of overhyping w corp yi sang bcus of this ego. yes its strong but if we make some resonable assumptions about them it doesnt necessarily paint a picture that w corp yi sang> 7 section yi sang. we can assume ego resource wise that yi sang would be sloth envy gloom, and hong lu would be glut envy gloom, with them having some source of rupture count (likely in their third skill) with the intention being for them to be in a pair and feed ego resource to each other and through the egos themselves. but ultimately this doesnt make w corp yi sang better, 7 section in the same pair would be able to still be rupture count neutral while building rupture through his first skill + ego passive, would be better suited for low sanity clashes through paralysis and his passive, and gets higher damage from the "(rupture*10)%damage dealt" through pierce fragility, meaning hong lu would be enough to support him and the eventual nuke would realistically be much more consistent and powerful with 7 section yi sang
I'm pretty sure a Yi Sang ID that can feed and profit from his new ego while also having at least 3 coins with good rolls on S2 and S3 will just naturally outperform 7 Yi Sang. 3 Paralyses and 3 pierce fragility just isn't enough to make up for the raw power he's missing and his solo potential just isn't as important as his viability in a full team.
