Hey guys! Sorry for being MIA for so long! I had a medical reason to be away and I am slowly but surely making my return.
Today I am going to demo the amazing new semi permanent hair colour by Lime Crime aptly titled Unicorn Hair! The shade Im using today is Pony and let me tell you it is, GORGEOUS! It is the perfect mixture of pink and purple, so even if you cant get all the pigment out of your hair before dying, it wont leave your hair looking blue. It is truly stunning!

The whole point to this color is not having to bleach it. Its not a true demo if your first sentence says to bleach your hair....

shelli rose actually you are incorrect. It tones dark hair to the color purchased but if you want your hair bright and vivid you must bleach first. And limecrime doesn't hide that fact.

I noticed after another few videos there is a difference between the unicorn and unicorn for dark hair. I was thinking they were the same thing. I just found out about this, so i didn't know what i was talking about when i commented. Sorry.

Im absolutely intrigued with fantasy colours if someone can answer my question... Once you apply colour it turns out beautiful and so on blabla, after 10 washes lets say it washes out. It's just as easy as to reapply it again and to obtain the same saturation/tone isnt it? Or do you have to do something special everytime you want the same purple hair? Like bleaching I mean....

it says that it washes out to your previous hair color, so you can probably just put more color in when it washes out

Breaking hair follicles means you’re letting her be more vulnerable to whatever chemicals you expose her to- please ask a pediatrician if those particular chemicals are safe!

Does it work over soft black roots? I didn't see you put it on your roots... What does it mean it's vegan? What plant or natural dye is this bright? Is this just another manic panic? What's the difference? Does it stain light shirts everyday like manic panic?

Krystal Mead if you have blonde hair, it will turn out. I however, have dark as night hair and it turned my scalp pink with red low tones on my strands. My daughter got the Dirty mermaid and she has red hair and it didn't turn out at all.

Leanne Mathis Oh no! That's terrible! I haven't seen anyone say if it smells bad or ?? Do you remember if it had a smell to it? I use Arctic Fox (smells like grapes, no harsh chemicals, money go towards animal shelters) and I LOVE it but Lime Crime has a few colors I'm loving on Instagram but not sure if I should buy them. Ppl asking how long it lasts It depends on person If u wash ur hair Very often expect it to be gone faster like in two weeks is what I heard most of this product bc most ppl I heard who used it washed their hair very often so it lasted two weeks

zoe gillman omg a year later lmao ... it truly depends on the person if u wash ur hair often it’ll be out by two weeks If not so often it lasts a bit longer I saw a girl who did hers and it lasted 60 days before she died it to black It’s best to wash hair with cold water bc it last more longer

@@renarizaki yeah I used this brand of hair dye and It washed out in little over 2 weeks. But this was all before i knew that you should wash your hair with lukewarm water. All I know is that I really enjoyed having the hair dye brand in my hair. It smells AMAZING.

I want to know if it is permanent because I don’t know if i want to go through the commitment and on top of that for my family our hair is very important and we don’t cut it unless 100% necessary. But i have been wanting to dye my hair for years, so theres that. 😅

According to limecrime, if your hair is light, the color will still be vivid. Obviously if you bleach it, you will get the most vivid color, but it all depends on how blonde your blonde it (remember, bleaching gets rid of undertones, which blondes have as well). Some of their unicorn hair colors are considered tints, others are considered full coverage (it will say which it is in the description on their site). So if you have darker hair and you use a full coverage, I'm guessing it will just kind of tint your hair that color whereas if you use a tint, it'll hardly show up

I WISH my hair were thinner! It takes up SO much hair dye and my hair is really fine so when I bleach it, it INSTANTLY tangles and its nearly impossible to brush out without conditioner!! And I'm a white girl too so it doesn't make much sense. I feel like it should be easier lol.

First of all please STOP with the fake singing at the beginning, childish. Having Cancer surgery and just wanted to go in with Cancer pink hair for luck. Bought the Pink is the skinny tall box. NO WHERE on THAT box did it give instructions on how to use. 3/4 of the wording on that box was not even in ENGLISH.
