These guys are good, but nowhere near as high a level as Alex, Geddy and Neil were, and LLB would be the first to tell you. This was nowhere close to the original.
I'm a real RUSH snob, especially the first 1/3rd of their legendary career. This was tight and sounded great. Outstanding job! Already anticipating what's next.......
Holy cow, that was frickin awesome! The guitar player was totally into it and just rocked it. This is Alex Lifeson’s favorite solo I believe that he ever did. Another great song by Rush I’d love to see you perform is Bravado, especially the live version off Different Stages with the extended ending. It’s a little obscure, but it was a single in the early 90’s and the band loved it. It’s just a great song with a terrific and emotional guitar solo.
Absofrickinlutely outstanding!! Every one of you did a phenomenal job of reproducing Rush’s unique sound, but kudos to the drummer. Neil Peart (RIP) is an extremely hard act to follow, but you nailed it!
Wow, this is confirmation that LLB members are fearless. The thought of even attempting to cover Neil’s drumming, Alex’s guitar and Geddy’s vocals would put the fear of God in any other musicians. You nailed it!
This is a hard song to duplicate. Full credit for taking it on and it sounded great. Sincerely appreciate all of the time and effort you all put into this.
I was hoping you guys were going to do Limelight. One of my all time favorites. The bass, guitar and drums were perfect. Thank you, thank you, thank you! I hope “Spirit of the Radio” is next.
2nd video on RUSH. Its nice to hear a singer that doesn't sound like Gety but can make his own RUSH song his own. I Like the singer. You now the singer can't do it by himself. Nice job Lexington 👏
HELL YEAH!!!! That's the energy and pizazz that you need to make an explosive rendition of one of the most powerful bands in the world... 🎵💚🎶🧡🎵💚🎶🧡🎵💚🎶🧡🎵
Brothers, Greetings. I see you inspired by the altogether captivating energetic sound of our mentors: Rush! LIMELIGHT! I had the fabulous fortune of seeing Rush perform Limelight in 1981 at Palmer School of Chairopractic in Davenport Iowa at age 16!
Gives you a whole new appreciation of how much talent was on stage with 3 ppl! RUSH will never be duplicated, but I appreciate anyone who tries! Because it lets me know you love em as much as I do
what a masterpiece of intricacy and LLB knocked this out of the park. So many things going on here it's pure musical bliss to just kickback and listen to it all. So love this song and in particular your cover guys.
You all know, "Those who wish to be must put aside the alienation, get on with the fascination, the real relation, the underlying theme." Here's to the real relation. Thx, Neil and friends.
You guys just keep impressing me. Rush is one of my all time favs, seen them in concert 5 times. You guys are so smooth, like you’ve been playing this your entire life. Great job!
Indeed! Rush is not easy to cover! Guitars are the usual very good! Tough vocals done very well and the drumming would have made Neil smile! i have a lot of work to catch up all these videos y'all made!
Oh man, did you feel that? Right after the solo, that glorious *pocket* formed and everyone dove in. Goosebumps, man. Mike and James locked in, such a wonderful moment when that happens... Kudos to James, especially the work on the ride - nailing those signature Neil moves! - Ed on the Ridge
I didn't watch this video for a few days after it popped up on my "recommended" list because I was super skeptical of ya'll pulling this song off properly. Even though EVERY other song yall have covered has been flawless, I thought "they'll never turn the distortion up enough on the guitar to get it right". So, I stayed away....until today. Dadgum ya'll! From the first notes on the opening riff I knew ya'll had nailed it and was once again astounded by LLB's talent. I will never doubt LLB again.
I want to say the drummer is amazing but then I don't want to leave out the vocals..... or the guitars... or the bass. Or the mixer guy or camera guys. Hell, the whole damn thing was amazing. AGAIN Thank you LLB.
Perfect timing and tamber.. as always exception music.. hard group to duplicate but it is done masterfully here.. well done! Kudos to the lead guitar BTW
