@ruel68ify The hull weighs about 350 lbs. With the engine, fuel, equipment, etc. the weight of the boat is close to 1000 lbs. Then it can carry another 1000 lbs of people and gear. So, the fully loaded weight is around 2000 lbs.
I totally love this boat that you made! I also lived in the Caribbean (St. Martin) and was there also for hurricane Ivan and all the rest. I like your design and it looks to be very coastal sea capable with the high sides. Could you tell me the height of the bottom of the pontoon to the top of the sidewall to get an idea? Thank you!
@tomgreenfield The engine you see in the video is a 15 hp Yamaha two-stroke. The boat will run at over 10 knots with four people on board with that engine. The boat is designed to handle up to a 60 hp four-stroke for extra performance.
