I was talking up the show at last night's pre-release. LSV, you're entertaining and smart. Marshall, you have a ton of integrity and commitment. Thank you so much for being who you are and doing what you do. I haven't missed an episode since I found you guys back when most people didn't know the word "podcast" and Louksasaurus was your co-host.
Marshall! I want to thank you for your dedication, consistency and love for the game of magic. I have been listening to the podcast since, oddly, Luis' first episode and it has been a weekly highlight in my life. I cant say thank you enough. Im a patron already so give me a break! Here's to 600 more episodes! Thanks again!! Ps. Thanks Luis
Thanks so much for making prereleases and drafts actually fun for me all these years, I historically haven’t gotten to play super often and I’d be miserably lost if I couldn’t learn from your incredibly helpful analysis and commentary.
Happy 600th episode, Marshall and LSV! Thank you for all of the content you make for us, especially people like me, the straight-average, 55% limited win rate player :) To many many more! Congratulations!
Best magic content out there for sure! You two could make any subject enjoyable to learn about. Also thank you, you have made me into a formidable limited opponent and made the whole experience so much more enriching for me. Here's to 600 more! Big love from the UK
Congrats on 600 episodes! Thank you Marshall and LSV for producing such fantastic content. LR has been a staple in my life for a while now and I continue to look forward to each new episode.
Thanks for the rundown! I listened right before a sealed prerelease and you were so helpful. I had a really weak pool for any two color combo, but the advice about edging helped me build an undefeated deck. Primarily black white value/reanimator, but splashed blue and green for Grist, witness, the 3/2 evoker, bushido frog, and rise and shine (had 7 artifact lands)
Congrats on 600! Thank you so much-I don't have the chance to play very frequently at all but still do well at prereleases with alot of credit to all the advice and insight from this show.
It's very funny how LSV has a thing going on like in Rush where Neil Peart (RIP) was always thought of as the "new guy" because he replaced the original drummer, even though, of course, he was the drummer for many decades for the band and is clearly the only guy for the role. Rush humor and LR humor might be pretty similar. LSV also has a Dan Avidan thing going on. Jon was only in Game Grumps for less than a year and Dan has been there for way longer. He's obviously the guy for the job. I don't think anyone's arguing against LSV and saying the old co-hosts need to come back though. (Also funny how Danny is a huge Rush fan too. Quite the comparisons.)
Did this get uploaded at weird time or blocked or something? I thought I saw this up earlier but I only see 99 views and 1 comment. Anyways I'm debating whether to get a box of MH2. I'm loving all the cards but I don't know how expensive the boxes are going to get.
Marshall, I just want to say thank you for your dedication, consistency and love for the game of Magic. I have been listening, oddly, since Luis' first episode and it has been a highlight of my week ever since. I cant say thank you enough. Im a patron already so give me a break. I love your podcast.
