to be teenager at that time was badass. today gen zZzz has garbage music in mainstream. doja cat is just like something to numb thinking and lyrics are so dumb on similar stuff, and rap is dumb these days.
@@MeelisMattTheres plenty of good music today, they’re just not on television anymore. Theyre in the underground. Those who run the television dont want that type of music on there. Its not gen Z that decide whats on television and radio, its actually gen x who runs the music buisness now. Theres alot of cool music in the underground if you search for it. Its not handed to you like it used to be back in the days, you have to actually search for it. And again its no gen z who runs the radio stations and television. Its older people like gen x who run these mainstream stations
Easier to blame someone else when you know you screwed up just a shame alot of the media likes to waffle shit too half the reporters was too scared all the bands kept leaving after their set no 1 wanted to be there even security walked out so whats that tell you dont create a shit festival and expect it not to go sideways
@@kckstnd8 the crowd was already riled whats going happen is going to happen stop looking to blame people production fucked up my era would still have done the same things 90s baby also the older generations put up with alot of shit the younger generations wont they found that out
They’re STILL a successful worldwide band in 2022, they’re STILL playing at huge arenas and large festivals. Their NEW album “Still Sucks” is like the NEXT chapter of Limp Bizkit and they’re definitely OLDER and WISER as musicians. Songs like “Dirty Rotten Bizkit, Pill Popper, Dad Vibes” are REALLY great songs from the NEW album and I heard that they’re working currently on a NEW ALBUM 💿 hopefully it’ll be out in 2023 .. I’ve been listening to Limp Bizkit since 1997 after watching their video for “Faith” on MTV and I’ve been hooked on with this band since then
The reason why people didnt like them is revealed in this interview. When the guy asked them what do they want their fans to "get"? They didnt have an answer except "get the fuck up". Thats because they have no message, they're just a dumb band that doesnt have anything to say which makes them shallow. Thats why people hate them.
Fred is my dream man, that baby face! 😢He was never a "rock star", he was always sincere. Limp Bizkit is awesome, captivating, original, emotional, true and creative!
That was the next day too. That's whats funny. These stupid documentaries try to say it was after break stuff, but the riots were after the peppers on day 3 lol
They were completely right about trying to make their next album better than the first one. LB is very wise in the sense that they can gauge what’s gonna happen in the future, apart from you know, having the finger pointed at them for all the bad stuff that happened that day.
@@meila22 yea. To me they were not that good. Had a couple decent songs but that's it. And who wants to deal with Fred durst? He comes off as arrogant and a douche bag
@@Rschr101 he left the band right after the chocolate starfish tour which I saw in Detroit in October 2000. Like I said...The beginning of the end. he doesn't seem happy at all here.
I loved L.B. It's hard to believe Fred is 4 years younger than me. I don't have the Grampy vibes going on in 2023. Then again, I didn't live being in Limp Bizkit!
it really had nothing to do with them at all. the people running the tour were price gouging everything once it got hot it was excruciating on that tarmac and people were cooking all of a sudden the water prices went up food prices went up and people got so mad and went crazy! I saw one guy just walking down the one area and he was just destroying everything in his path and he didn't care what it was he was trashing it. He kept yelling the stands prices are ridiculous and it stinks like crap everywhere and people are starting to riot. That's when it started as soon as they started changing prices and the toilet area wasn't getting cleaned. it just continued on through the day and by the time limp bizkit started it was already out of control.
It makes perfect sense! They hired their own camera crew! So they are recording their own videos. But they are not the ones who are actually holding the cameras.
"Connect with real music from real guys," 3:27. And at same time, the listener "connects" to the rap-rock genre like no other. Especially when encountering society by the 2020s may have one coming across, ^at the surface^, more posers. To paraphrase a title of wrestler Mick Foley's book, "The Real World is Faker than Rap-Metal."
