@todor kerev:I wouldn't say that. It's not as if you couldn't hear the guitar in this song and in fact and in fact it's rather prominent as in pretty much every song of LB. But then again everyone perceives music differently.
What pisses me off is how critics labeled this as “misogynistic”. As if men can’t express their feelings of being mentally and physically abused by their girlfriend/wife. Fred’s feelings were valid and I, as a man who left a mentally abusive relationship, relate to this song. It’s okay to sing about toxic femininity. This song is a masterpiece 🤘
@@IndustrialFan666 future?? Man I just laughed out loud at THAT bullshit!!!! “mAsK oFf” thats ass. Future is absolute shit with NO lyrical meaning. He’s the same as ever other rapper now. Spits jibberish about money and women making it sound “fire” If you wanna hear some REAL rap, listen to classic Eminem, Dr. Dre, etc....
there are lots of haters of limp bizkit leaving hate comments under their music videos.if you hate them, get the fuck out then. the only band making nu metal in the way it's gotta be made. thank you limp bizkit for rocking the world for over 15 years!!
***** Never really liked the bald look on Fred, nor the big ugly beard I've seen in some recent interviews. It's not that I don't dig the look, just not on him. I think he would look best if he shaved and wore the backwards cap look, kinda like when he came on the Chelsea Lately show. I remember seeing Fred for the first time in a while during that interview, and thinking how he looked like he was doing really well, especially at his age. It reminded me of the old Fred Durst you know...
***** Adam Lambert Plus he dyes it nowadays so it has that weird, fake black color... can't help being bald though lol. Guess the cap does hide it pretty well.
Ryan Beers Definitely can't go wrong picking Fred's signature look, aka the classic red Yankees cap worn backwards, along with a black T-shirt, green/tan cargo shorts, and some awesome skateboarder shoes lol. That was the image that originally got me into their music, back in high school. Even though I didn't start listening to LB until late 2007, I always felt some of their music was just timeless you know, and I later found out that the red ball cap was the look from the Chocolate Starfish era, back when they were at their peak of fame and success, around 2001-2003 or so...
Adam Lambert i can remember from 2000-02 that classic "Fred" image spread like wild fire amongst the jocky fratboy dickweeds. Not calling you that by any stretch but you had have that douchy mentality back then to honestly sport that look with confidence.
Haven't heard this song in years. I used love listening to this album. I was never a fred durst limp bizkit hater. I think I just grew up. Went on to listened to better bands different styles. Limp bizkit is still relevant to me after all these years. Classic album here.
This right here was when Limp Bizkit had their formula down to a T. It's prefect. Fred was so genuine, Sam and Jon were so tight, Wes was as naturally eccentric as one could be without forcing it (not to mention the hammer-on tapping that made me love him), and Lethal was subdued and integral (the way Delgado is in Deftones). I saw them last May and hung out with them; they STILL put on an amazing show and are still very personable. But, man...this was what got me on the bandwagon a good fifteen years ago.
Yeah man the three dollar bill era was a completely different LB, and even though I do like some of their later material, nobody can touch their old school shit. There is a reason they became really famous really fast, and it's because they were undeniable. I still get goose bumps to this day when I play LB tracks like Pollution, Stuck, Nobody Loves Me, and Clunk. I can't even put into words how much I admire their first album, because for me it's hard to express, but I love it when I come across someone like yourself who I think really understands what I'm talking about. Anyways like you said this was the time period where the LB formula was perfect.
Mine too brother !!! The early 80s to the late 90s were the best years of my life. Life has been nothing but a perpetual downhill shitstorm since 1995 for me.
The best time of my life from what I can remember lmao!! So much fun. Back before tweak took over the scene. When you could trust your friends and you all were closed and you stuck together period. Nowadays everybody's at the windows peeking out the shades listen to sounds in the walls and stealing anything and everything they can off their friend to get a damn hit is that Crystal s***. It ruined everything!!
I remember seeing them on this tour, they were playing small $5 venues. When they played songs like this, the place was slamming. Yeah, it was once a thing, man.

Limp Bizkit and Eminem started off as friends, toured and did a song together.. Fred shouted him out on "Show Me What You Got" and their rivalry started in 2001 not 2004
Does anyone realize the true meaning of this song? It’s about his wife, who a few years before three dollar bill came out, he had a huge argument with, and he jumped out a window and got arrested. This video is depicting what happened.
Mellow out....bitch Hell no I thought I knew ya Took the time to put my love into ya Screw ya 'Cause now you got me sittin' in the sewer I'm through with all them roller coaster rides See, I ain't forgot about the knots That you been tying with my insides I dropped my pride Without you I was sure to die I tried with cash And all I could, to make it last Now I accepted that was in the past I know you love me Love me like a piece of trash But at first you were so sweet Couldn't go without seein' your face for an hour So sour It all became a hassle You were even living in my castle Just to use me And verbally abuse me That's not the way I'm running my shop It took a while to see the light before I stopped And you got dropped off It's over, probably I'll be sweatin' it But in the long run you'll be the one regrettin' it Maybe you won't, maybe you will But baby, you're still about as real as a three dollar bill There's no one to blame but you And who gets the blame me Ohh ohh, I sound like a bitch A little bitch in heat With all that anger that I'm feelin Bitch I think it's heat Another split tail Just another split tail Thanks for the lesson Now get your shit and hit the trail We know I'm coming from that old school You damn fool Intensity is something that I'm made of And certainly I'm not afraid of A little smack in my face Thanks for the taste There's no one to blame but you And who gets the blame me Ohh ohh, I sound like a bitch A little bitch in heat With all that anger that I'm feelin Bitch I think it's heat Another split tail Just another split tail
This song and video is proof why Wes Borland was miles ahead of the rest of the nu-metal pac guitarists back and the hey day of the genre And still continues expand his craft inspiring a new generation.
Wes is fantastic but I'm sure Mike Einziger's guitar work on S.C.I.E.N.C.E. and Make Yourself (Incubus) was equally innovative. Honestly, every nu/alt metal guitarist who didn't just copy the KoRn formula back then deserves praise
jeFF Fury - love those albums. Unstoppable was a throw back to the rawness of $3 - unfortunately that was a turbulent time for the re-emergence of Wes and the band - and I think it draws up many bad memories within the band and they do not really care for the album. They may play a song live here and there but they don’t hold it with high regards (at least critical acclaim)
I'm not afraid of a little smack in my face Thanks for the taste👌🏻 This was my favourite song from Three Dollar Bill, Ya'll. Definitely one of the VERY best Limp Bizkit songs and albums👌🏻
I was in Junior High when this album dropped and I still can listen to this from start to finish. Brings me back to the days when we actually had good mainstream music.
Milliannial? When they say "damn You bought a nervanna album when it relesed? Wish i was around and into the music than... Musta been cool!" Like how we used to do to the hippies, Than were old. Havent herd it yet. ;)
First album... that time when Limp Bizkit was actually good.. I still have my cassette copy of "Three Dollar Bill, Y'all$" ... Significant Other wasn't THAT great, but it has some good songs in it.. it bring back memories too.. but then, I don't kow What happened... seriously, why they had to change the sound so much after.?.. #WHY ! it actually makes me sad... The guys are good musicians.. so I blame Durst, I don't see another explanation... (i don't care if some people are gonna hate me for what I said...)

AMAZING Wes Borland is irreplaceable Mike Smith sucked balls trying to pull off Wes' moves and everything else but still looking back at all the videos and songs with Wes still in them and then looking at the ones with Mike its just not the same, but that's just my opinion (so don't be haters.) So..... I'm super happy that Wes came back to Limp Bizkit for Gold Cobra. He is just simply amazing and super attractive
