Limpkin Invasion!! 

With the western spread of apple snail populations, Limpkins have followed and have now established a presence in Texas. Apple snails make up the bulk of the Limpkin diet. The ponds of Exploration Green is southeast Houston, Tx are apparently now home to a pair of Limpkins which it is hoped helps control the apple snail population which could be a detriment to pond ecology.
