It's so frustrating to see all the 'experts' comment here describing what mistakes Kashyap made or what he could've done. This is sports at the highest level. They are humans and not machines at the end of the day. Even they get nervous and make mistakes . But to say that Lin Dan toyed with Kashyap is absolutely ridiculous. Lin dan is one of the greatest players to ever play the sport. Props to Kashyap for holding out against him in this fashion. All you 'experts' , please put down the chips packet and step outside your house.

Well, we viewers have the right to criticize players. You don't need to know how to cook to be a food critic; two different set of skills. Having an opinion is critical to one's learning and thinking development. Nothing's wrong with constructive criticism. I guess some people only want to see sugar coated comments.

Lindan probably assessed Kashyap's game in the first 10 points of the game ! Another thing I like about lindan is that he always moves with the shuttle, limited body movement, attacks whenever it's needed ! Two Olympic GOLDS for a reason ❤️
Common he didnt !! Its a game and Lin dan was just a better player than others !! Dont make it look like dan was a machine who never made mistakrs and could read games in just minutes of game !
When it turned 12-12, did you guys miss the change in tone and tenor of both the commentators saying Lin Dan is not playing as good as he did in his younger days?
! Well iam upset seeing the upbringing of a sports person in India like in America and China we culture them from the beginning in sports or any activities! But sadly the thing I saw in India , govt providing of chances or verification in the field of sports is very bad ! And seeing , hearing how the Indian parents force you’ll to study is nice but not really needed! I just wish indian govt will see the future of the present upcoming champs and help them!🖐🏼
This is india for u. There is one bill plus population. Unlike in other countries, this population is the hindrance in ur life. Its very difficult for a middle class.parent to make their kids take up sports, its a big risk in life. Ask any indian middle class parent.

Actually i think kashyap has what it takes to match up lin dan. It is just mentally he needs to believe he can return lin dan's shots and anticipate lin dan's next shot.
What i don't like about Indian players whether it is men single or women single, they come on the court will so many ornaments on their body like watches, bracelet, chain etc ..
I'm sure I'm no good as any of the players but as far as i can see, lin Dan's position is extremely stable. On the other hand, kashyap has been wasting a lot of energy in un needed smashes and other shots. That's where lin is just flicking and changing the direction of shuttle. Kashyap lost so many points like this.
kashyap's footwork is slow and lin dan understood it in the initial points itself. Lin dan wasn't even moving too much he was stretching his arms to reach the shuttle from as centre of the court as possible. Also kashyap's stamina is very low compared to lin.
Well played Kashyap !!, considering the fact that he was up against the Legend and with an unsupportive crowd. Even one of the commentator said its stone silence when Kashyap wins a rally.
I mean, that’s the nature of a home crowd, u can’t call them hostile, and Lin Dan is gonna be supported and cheered wherever he goes cuz that’s the image he has built for himself
Many indian players have defeated Lin dan. Kidambi srikant in China open 2014 final and Denmark open. HS prannoy has defeated Lin dan 3 times and is 3-2 ahead in 5 meetings. Gopichand has beaten lin dan 2 times and leads 2-1. Sai praneeta has defeated Lin dan 1 time and Shubanker dey defeated Lin dan too

@@adithyabandari2973 sadly i had quit to the game in 2015 due to some personal reasons. he was a great coach, I played under from 2013-15 .He was a great professional and very disciplined. He retired in 2015 but now has an academy in Hyderabad. I can say badminton is a very risky sport which also has a bit of politics and is not noticed to the outside world. I can safely say I lost my love towards the game by the time I quit
it's very sad to see very few indians play for their country the few who came out have come out from the most toughest conditions where every parent in india wants their children to be a doctor or engineer or a cricketer lot's of respect to these people!

Let me share a story..:::: LCW lost to LinDan many times in Olympics.. But it was a game of respect for both the players.. Here Kashyap was completely ...😇 I like Kashyap being an Indian Shuttler.. and an icon. Yet.. from this game point of view: hes a sparring partner 😇
Harshith Traders it is not a waste of time for us it shows what level of Lin dan is in real because most of the time when lee Chong Wei plays with lin dan it makes the look easy but here we can see kashayap is struggling while playing against him
Kashyap could have achieved so much more only if he had a stable game. Consistency lacks even between points. Trying to win points my doing something extraordinary and playing with emotions, such a rookie attitude.
