I'm so happy for Lin Yun Ju. Watching all my favourite youngster players, including Lin, wang chuqin, tomokazu harimoto and lebrun brothers battle it out with each other; its such a treat. Im really enjoying this tournament
This tournament is really nice, and i really like to see more players who can try to match Chinese players or even defeat them if possible, making it even more enjoyable, i like Chinese players and this is why i loved this sport, but i want to see those Chinese also have some real challenges and not just only one side domination all the time.
@TareqAstroPhoton I couldn't agree more. I myself have always been in Ma Long fan club and one can't help but appreciate players like wang chuqin, sung yinsha, chen meng. But this one sided dominance makes the game less interesting in the long run which is not good for this sports that we love. That being said, I am very excited about the future of this sports with players like lebrun brothers and other youngsters dominating TT scene in near future.
@@RM-hu9sd I think he is saying he played as if he were a Chinese player, knowing that Chinese national team players are cream of the crop in the professional game.
@@matmagix3845 I understand, but he is still WAY behind Ma Long/FZD/ZJK/Ma Lin and maybe even Wang Hao, so he was like Chinese for only few days here lol
He's good but there are several others who are still above him. Most of them are out but his opponent in the final is ma long, the greatest tt of the generation and arguably all time. Lins given him trouble in recent years but ma beat him convincingly recently
@@x0cx102Wang Ch.> Ma Long right now, and Lin played at an unearthly level here, especially two last sets. If Lin plays at the same level, Ma probably won't win.
Whaaat?!!!!!! This is UNBELIEVABLE!!! Incredible performance from Lin YJ!!! Literally Matrix Neo speeds... and I thought WCQ was fast... This game was something truly special. He was up 9-0 against Wang Chuqin!! This tournament was by far the craziest I've ever seen! And we're only at the Semis!! What is going on?! With Sun Yingsha being beat AND WCQ too?! Both No.1 players knocked out at the Semifinals. What a tournament!! These upset games really make my love for TT grow even more. Huge congratulations to LYJ for the victory. Well deserved!!
@@TareqAstroPhoton He's the best Taiwan competitor, so his performance is rather certain. I remember his victory over Fan Zhendong. I agree that he's not as consistent as Chinese players.
Yeah some days he can choke like he recently lost to Liam Pitchford and last time to Ma Long and Wang by a lot, also lost to Felix 0-3 last time they played
Lin is phenomenal, he is calm, collected and precise with plenty of power, some of these shots are total rockets and they look like no effort to him, furthermore his reflex is insane.
If only he can be calmer, more balance and focused on his accuracies in game by his composure, he will be unstoppable trust me . He beat the best in the world but lost to Harimoto . He needs to be more calmer with an accurate composure trust me
Amazing! Amazing performance from Lin, he is the only one who can destruct top Chinese players when he in the mood, if he played like this in the final he will crushes ML, remembered he did that before!
Good it was for Lin but the point was given to Wang, so that Lin won the match after all, imagine if this edge gone to Lin and then he lost, it won't make a difference, but we all know that table tennis every point is counted, but mistakes and errors happened.
Thanks the audiences there in the gym cheered for Taiwanese legend-Lin. All Taiwanese people are proud of his achievement. Unlike China’s large dedication to table tennis, table tennis players in Taiwan don’t get much training resources. Since there are a huge number of outstanding players in China, the possibility for Taiwan to win a team competition against China almost not exists, Taiwanese players still try their best on training and never give up easily. Wish Lin a bright table tennis career.
Taiwan and China are the same ancestors. No surprise to me if the Taiwanese can defeat China, and they are the same people, just a different name table tennis inside their blood tream same here in canada hockey are their best..
@@vincentnguyen8067Yeah, but they have different training programs. CNT gets everything they can think of to train their players to be the best. They have support from the CPP or their government. That is different from other countries, including Taiwan.
My favorite player is Wang Chuqin but I am happy Lin YunJu won. Wang Chuqin has been winning too much recently that it is boring to watch table tennis. Also, Ma Long vs Lin Yun-Ju will be much better to watch than Ma Long vs Wang Chuqin, the latter of which is always one-sided in favor of Wang Chuqin.
Wang’s serve seems to have the contact point over the table rather than behind the baseline. I’m not sure he gets any advantage from this, but surely it’s illegal?
From 4th set onwards, Chiquitas and backhand of LYJ where so perfect. Level of best BH of the world. WCQ was so exposed and kind of Lost when LYJ mixed the Variety of alternatives. And of course I could not forget tô mention that WCQ atitude on Edge ball reminded me Ma Lin.
Dont underestimate ma long . He is still one of the best. He cant beta Wang because of Wang chuqin style. Lin yun ji potential is insane and i hope he doesnt get inconsistent. I think ma long will take the final hopefully, but this was a great win for Lin. Ma long is great at controlling the game and i think he can beat Lin.
Lin Yun Ju beats his most braves rivals one by one. Harimoto and then Wang 😎 Finaly i'm fan of a great non chinese player who is able for beat chinese. 🎉🎉 ❤
Ma Long looks pretty tough this tournament and just won the gold medal beating FZD in the Asian games over a month ago (and beat your guy 3-0 in the semi-final). Lin Yun Ju looks great too. Hope it goes to the decider for a great match tomorrow.
First time in ages that we can see kind of fear and worry in the eyes of the chinese team players...including the coach staff..they will need to get ready for the olympics ...The "all stars" Rookies are coming from everywhere atm...
it's badly editted.. like they are in a hurry.. as quick as possible all points in a row.. beautiful wins should be repeated, different angles and perhaps a slowmo, then continue other points can be shown shortly. it will make this replay so much more entertaining.
Wang was out of ideas and out of patience. He basically gave up. Lin’s serve and return of serve stifled Wang’s game. Wang could not find a way through.
