We go through the main tea areas of Lincang county in Yunnan Province, China.
Lincang is famous for its Pu-erh tea, produced in Mengku, Bangdong and Yongde. You will also find a lot of high quality black teas in Fengqing, in the North of the county.
Just like Xishuangbanna and Pu'er, you will find a lot of ancient tea gardens and high quality tea in Lincang. Let's have a look!

Thanks, this has been so useful to understand all of the names of different tea areas and how they relate to each other. I’m sure I’ll watch all of this series several times to internalize this treasure trove of information.

These guided walkthroughs through the tea-maps are really interesting William. I haven't tried any tea from Xiao Hu Sai so far. I've got a few Yongde cakes, lots of Licang and Mengku in the closet, but I'll have to keep an eye out for some if it's a favourite of yours. Merci beaucoup!

Awesome video. Have you considered sourcing Mengku Tea, from Xiao Hu Sai or other Lincang areas?
