actually Lincoln said this, "My paramount object in this struggle is to save the Union, and is not either to save or to destroy slavery. If I could save the Union without freeing any slave I would do it, and if I could save it by freeing all the slaves I would do it; and if I could save it by freeing some and leaving others alone I would also do that. What I do about slavery, and the colored race, I do because I believe it helps to save the Union; and what I forbear, I forbear because I do not believe it would help to save the Union." and the E.P. ONLY freed slaves in states of rebellion. Not in the border states where he actully had control. The E.P. also forbade freeing slaves in the New Orleans area because many blacks there owned slaves.

Here's an idea, everyone go Google, Slave Ship Owners, under images and scroll. Everyone will see, White Americans never enslaved anyone in America and were just blamed, for Centuries, by the ACTUAL slave owners, who've also been lying to the people they enslaved for Centuries. You need to realize, (both races) you were both lied to, turned against each other and this was done by design, so both of you wouldn't discover that you're both being lied to and the same people have committed atrocities, against both of your people. They're terrified (the real slave owners) of everyone waking up and exposing them, in a united fashion, that they can't control or lie about.

Right. And the people incarcerated in prison carry absolutely none of the responsibility for their being there? The Emancipation Proclamation didn’t actually free all enslaved people. Since Lincoln issued the Emancipation Proclamation as a military measure, it didn’t apply to border slave states like Delaware, Maryland, Kentucky and Missouri, all of which were loyal to the Union. Missouri actually had two competing governments; one loyal to, and recognized by the Union, and one loyal to the Confederacy. Lincoln also exempted selected areas of the Confederacy that had already come under Union control in hopes of gaining the loyalty of white people in those states. In practice, then, the Emancipation Proclamation didn’t immediately free a single enslaved person, as the only places it applied were places where the federal government had no control-the Southern states currently fighting against the Union.

In reality, the 13th, 14th, and 15th amendments to the constitution were unnecessary if the institutional operators of the United States would only apply the Bill of Rights to everyone and internally addressed Thomas Jefferson‘s hypocrisy when he wrote “all men are created equal“ while simultaneously owning and procreating with enslaved Africans, whom he had no intention of extending full rights of citizenship to further, when Phyllis Wheatley showed the collective potential of Afro-Americans, by composing pros in both Greek and Latin, Jefferson and other founding fathers dismissed her as an anomaly, because enslaved Africans were so essential to the American economy.

Thomas Jefferson was a hypocrite. He owns 600 slaves. They had 50+ years to abolish slavery and no one did anything not the founders era not the 1st post founders era, it wasn’t until the Lincoln era where it became no negotiations. They kept talking about it eventually dying out but yet it never did so Lincoln had to put the hammer down. Otherwise no one would have the courage to stop it at once and for all. So yes, all 3 amendments were necessary.

I don’t have the money to do that. It isn’t right. If I pay for cable I should have full access to the history channel on roku! I do with TCM! History should be free to begin with! If I was going to pay more for anything it would be to have full access to PBS. Even though I have cable I again have to get PBS plus. It’s a rip off but at least I am supporting public broadcasting.

He didn't end slavery. The 13th Amendment did, eight months after his passing. Check out the Corwin Agreement and the Morill Act. If the South had returned to the Union and ratified, as the Northern States had done, the Corwin Agreement it would have become the 13th Amendment and slavery would be legal today. Unless a state ended it themselves.

The Corwin amendment was passed in Congress but it was ever ratified by the states, and it was drop out of the constitution. The Emancipation Proclamation and the 13th Amendment did free the slaves in America. 13 Amendment section 1 Neither slaves nor involuntary servitude, except as punishment for crimes whereof the party shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction. Section 2 Congress shall have the power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation. What does the Morill Act have to do with ending slavery in America?

"If as the friends of colonization hope, the present and coming generations of our countrymen shall by any means, succeed in freeing our land from the dangerous presence of slavery; and, at the same time, in restoring a captive people to their long-lost father-land, with bright prospects for the future; and this too, so gradually, that neither races nor individuals shall have suffered by the change, it will indeed be a glorious consummation" Abraham Lincoln

In the Proclamation itself, made public on September 17, Lincoln repeated his desire to compensate slaveholders within the Union for the emancipation of their slaves, and to promote colonization. However, this was only a proposal; the President made no attempt to free the slaves in the four slave states that had remained in the Union, nor in those parts of the Confederacy that were under Union control. The only slaves whom he unilaterally declared free were those in territory controlled by the Confederates, and who were therefore entirely beyond his power to free. Moreover, Lincoln promised the states of the Confederacy that their practice of slavery would remain unmolested if they stopped their “rebellion” within 100 days.
