I had multiple clicks on my 2010 Lincoln Town Car Executive L those are your relays I have mine in the shop right now I so far found out I did blow the starter which started to smoke found that it was drawing to much power now that it’s replaced it did clear the clicking and issues but now the PAC security system is locking out my car like it’s stolen so having a lock smith come down on Monday to check it out

Positive cable from battery runs to starter i think mines has bad connection

Also a refurbished starter should by covered on warranty but ford is known for having issues electrically knowing that I’d alway factory new and a refurbished unit lasting a year sounds like a typical expectation for a cheap starter.
