The sun never sets on a legend, I don't think I have to say anymore really. I was devastated by his death, but I know he'll always be around. An earthly body may die, but a spirit lasts forever. .. And boy, did that have some spirit. He was truly one of a kind,and I miss him every day.
You better believe he made a dent .... When I first heard the news , I cried. I couldn't believe he was gone !! He was larger than life, a true force of nature, who lived life to the fullest . A lot of young actors today could learn a lot from mr. Hagmans example.
What a classy lady Linda Gray is. She, Patrick Duffy and Larry Hagman must've been quite a force to be reckoned with all those years together --they were lucky to have each other all that time, and we are very lucky to have had them too! Thanks for posting this.
thank you for posting this. my mom got me caught up on the storyline from the original Dallas prior to when the new one started. i loved how Larry Hagman portrayed such an evil person, but was very kind and gracious in real life. this makes me want to keep watching the series and hope that it continues with the spirit which has always driven it.

This is why they call it acting. Larry Hagman played a real SOB on camera as J.R. Ewing, but off camera he was the nicest guy, according to everyone who worked with him. I've read many stories of actors and actresses who are nasty on camera and very pleasant off, and vice versa.
