This is my wife and I favorite duet because she and I always sung it together, she passed away February 15, 2022, I am still listening to it and missing her…
2023 and still listening... They don't make beautiful authentic music anymore like they did back then. I'm honestly glad we still have access to old school music ❤️
had to watch this, just watched the biography on TV, Linda Ronstadt : The sound of my voice, music is an education and i love to hear old songs like this great classic ❤
No special effects; no autotune; just a beautiful song performed by an inspired duo. Whoever came up with the idea of having Aaron Neville and Linda Ronstadt sing a duet has my unending thanks!
I lost my wife of 40 years to cancer four months ago and this beautiful song drenches me in tears whenever I hear it. I miss her so much! But I know I love her.
Timeless. From a time when you didn't need pyrotechnics, choreographed dancing ensembles or laser lights. Just a beautiful melody and two beautiful voices. Those were the days.
@@aurelle69 i bet you love it when the Black artist just silently performs to entertain you instead of sharing their life troubles. black lives matter.
I'm a 72 years young, Vietnam Veteran, retiree, and this is the most romantic duo I've ever heard! This is from a time when the words "I love you" meant a lot! Thanks for posting!
2023 and this song is still a great one ... We slowly age and the although the beauty of the skin slowly slips away .. What matters is the beauty inside one's soul ...!
@rhonalipshitz4333~~They are both absolutely perfect together~~When she sings I get so emotional and teary eyed~~She's simply the best and always will be~~I'm in my 60's and a total music freak since I was a yougin~~For the exception of a few, today's music is awful~~But I give everyone a chance~~Most music is awful~~My faves today are Kelly Clarkson and Pink+ a few others~~Classic rock, always~~Have a nice day~~😄😄😄💗💗💗
This performance is stunning, Aaron's voice is undeniable and the way Linda holds herself back, she knows this song is all about Aaron's voice, that takes class.
Ms. Ronstadt, song interpreter extraordinaire. She has said she was happiest singing with someone-your voice adapts to theirs. She was such an unabashed fan of the Neville Brothers and the New Orleans music scene. You've all probably seen it, but there is a terrific interview on Johnny Carson the night after the Grammy in which she bubbles over with enthusiasm for what she experienced in NOLA.
I DEDICATE THIS SONG TO MY HUSBAND. HE PASSED ON 1.15.21 R.I.P. I LOVE AND MISS YOU 43 YEARS OF MARRIAGE. LOVING MY VOWS I MADE WITH HIM TE AMO.❤❤❤😢😢😢✝️✝️✝️💜💜💜
There's only one Aretha, one Patty Labelle, one Gladys Knight, one Sinatra, Tom Jones, Barbara Streisand, Johnny Mathis, Nat King Cole, and one Aaron Neville.
Yes, I totally agree. The harmonies and melodies were so unique and beautiful. It's amazing how they created something so timeless. It's like they were able to capture something special in their music that will never be forgotten.
Hello!!! How are you doing today, please pardon me for intruding into your privacy but I just wanted to know if you’re a fan ? Have a great day.. Stay Safe!
It's now April 9th 2023, Easter Weekend here in Auckland, New Zealand 🇳🇿 I'm still watching this beautiful duet sung by two beautiful musicians Aaron Neville and Linda Ronstat ❤
Oh my goodness, this song makes me cry everytime I hear it. Two timeless performers singing a timeless magical and beautiful song. Thank you Aaron for the memories and this timeless masterpiece.
Hi, everyone ❤ I still have tears listening to this... I don't know why but I'm just sitting here thinking about all of my loves and brokenness and this song popped in my mind and heart... It says it all. God bless and happy to know I'm not alone. I saw the comments from others asking if anyone is here... September 2024,60 year old lady from Peru, Indiana saying hi and my best to everyone.

Starting to read Aaron Neville's memoir, Tell it Like it Is, and he talks about how nervous he was. Also that he nearly tripped on the wires on the floor as he was walking out. He said he didn't calm down until he looked into Linda's eyes, he never took his eyes off her for the whole performance. This was an incredible live performance.
Some kind of wonderful. Only Ronstadt can make me listen to such sentimental stuff. Aaron and Linda remain very close friends. In an ugly phoney cruel world that's a relief.
This was mine and my husband's song after we got married 33 years ago. It has always been our song. We would dance to it in our kitchen when it came on. He suddenly past away 2 months ago. I miss him so much. Listening to this just helps to remember how much we loved each other. I miss you so much Michael! ❤
My cats are 1 today and I bought them a tin of salmon for a treat. Although, my tin opener is broken so they had to have kibble for breakfast (they didn't mind). As soon as I woke up this song came into my mind. I love those little creatures, they make my life so happy - so this song is for them. Happy birthday, Biggie and Baby!
Dear God in Heaven, will I ever get enough of these two people. The more I hear them sing, the more I want to hear them. Some things should be preserved for generations upon generations to come, and this is most certainly one of them
Has any one ever had enough of these two ? Or is there another person on the face of this earth who loves Gospel Music so much and still have room for these two all the time ? I do. God bless them. Only a pity Linda will never sing again but thank God she has left me with something very special. Pure love. Thank you Neville! Thank you Linda!
I agree with you ma'am. I only 20 but I love this song and music of yesteryear so much. These songs are golden because they don't music like this anymore. And what beautiful voices.
MJBABYPHAT I am 65 years and it doesn't get any better than this. Been fans of them both since mid-60's. I love Aaron Neville's Christian testimony - see his intreviews on YOU TUBE .... See you in Heaven .. Roger C. Matt. 6:19-21
***** thanks will check it out. Heard him on sesame street when I was younger with Elmo doing a song and I was amaze at his beautiful voice. That became my favorite sesame street song.
I lost my beautiful wife almost 3 years ago today and that was one of our favorite songs. It makes me tear up every time I listen to it. We told each other we loved one another everyday and the fact that she told me that you love me was all I really needed and all I needed to know
