I agree... we are so lucky to have grown up listening to her beautiful voice.... she has contributed so much to the soundtrack of our lives.... when I look at female 'singers' now, I wonder what happened... Linda, Stevie Nicks, etc... we had the BEST !!!!
I DON'T want to think of the day that we will NO longer have her here on Earth! :-( :-( :-( :-( I HATE ALL diseases AND getting old, But UNfortunately, NONE of us are here "Forever"! :-( :-( :-( :-( I WILL LOVE YOU FOREVER LINDA RONSTADT! :-) :-) YOU ARE IN MY TOP FIVE FOR MY FAVORITE FEMALE SINGERS IN THIS ENTIRE WORLD! :-)
Interesting, I"ve never heard of this CD. I got to get it. I have all of her three Nelson Riddle albums on vinyl and bought them when they first came out, but never new about this one.
Too bad she didn't have the decency to attend Johnny Cash's funeral. He helped give her the exposure she needed to become a 'star'. That she didn't wear underwear when she performed probably had something to do with her 'never will marry' fate. Still, she had a good voice and was halfway attractive so I guess she made the most of her assets and that's more than most people do.
