It's not only the gorgeous tone, the breathtaking technical competence, it's the way she conveys so much emotion, the emotion of the lyrics at the same time. This song is just devastating, she's just devastating. A great artist takes you on a journey you never had a clue you were about to undertake, and she takes you on an epic one here.

Songwriting aside, soul sister Linda did it all. Power ballads, rockers, classical, Spanish, broadway. Plus she was oh so cool, oh so genuine, oh so strong, oh so sexy, oh so smart. Locked it live with the boys, brought the gals together, cut across racial boundaries, backed important causes, wasn’t afraid to call out powerful people, put bands together, supported friends, loved her family. Just a great lady

Her rendition of Desperado is one of the best songs she has in her catalog. It is an amazing cover of the Eagles song the band let her cover. And if you know anything about the Eagles, they don't allow for many covers of their material. It also helps that she was instrumental in the formation of the band. You might also try her take on ALISON. A song by Ellvis Costello that ranks as one her best.

Lovely old song, by the great Linda Ronstadt. Melanie (Sakfa) does a good version of this song. Angela we recently lost Donny Gerrard to cancer. I was wondering if I could request you giving a listen to "Wildflower" by Skylark. The song largely considered to be the start of/or, the first power ballad. It was also super producer David Foster first outing. It's a iconic song, from 1972, beautiful really. Of course Donny Gerrard sang lead on the song.
