Thanks for posting these 'Where The Action is' especially these episodes with Ms. Linda Sampson ! It was such a delight to see her perform 'live' on television. A very pretty lady with such a sweet lovely voice e.g. 'This is my prayer,' 'My heart' etc… I recently read that she can still sing today. A shame her career ended so abruptly in the early 1970's. I would love to see Linda perform again ! Ken

I didn't even know this Show existed when I was a Kid. I remember when I was Six and I saw the Very First American Bandstand TV Special in 1972 and Stevie Wonder sang Fingertips dressed up as a Cowboy. This was his Second outside Show outside of American Bandstand. The first of course being The Saturday Night Live Beechnut Show.

I was trying to figure out where I have heard this "Yeah, Yeah" song before. At first I thought it might have been in a French Scopitone, but now I'm thinking it was a hit for a British group. Perhaps Georgie Fame? Looking it up right now. Looks like I'm right, he had a hit titled "Yeh, Yeh". Love to see Linda, thanks!

@NRRArchives4, do you have any of the appearances of Jody Miller on "Where the Action Is"? She sang on the episodes that aired on 7/1/65, 7/26/65, 12/29/65, and 2/1/66.

I read that Paul Revere and the Raiders were the house band and they recorded a lot of these songs for other artists like Steve alaimo Keith Allison as a backup and this version of night train sounds quite a bit like the one on just like us their second album
