@@gaysniperok but she loves to invalidate most of the stars from that tv network that have been assaulted, I mean I would be envious of Alexa and Janette getting all this fame, Lindsay never had a career, gets fired from pretty little liars and still looks like a man, embarrassed for her truly
The reality is. A lot of tweens develop early in body maturity. There is no natural law that determines adult puberty happens after eighteen. That's just human law. And it wasn't always that way for most of humanity's time on Earth.
And hell there was literally a whole episode about Moze feeling uncomfortable in her changing body as a middle schooler. I feel like it would have been okay with or without the tape, because even without chest size, she still did appear older so they could have been okay with that honestly.
Sounds awkward but at least they did right by telling her upfront she was out of age range for the part. She definitely came off older than both Ned and cookie, but sometimes it does take practical effects for stories sake
@@shayslay3416 keep in mind that show took place in middle school. 15-18 is already way too old to be playing a middle schooler who is averaged at around 12-14 years old.
I thought there would be way more comments like this one. I found it kind of weird just listening to it. I don't understand the point of "reporting " this.
@@maddfinn11 if you didn't find anything wrong with it that's cool. Plus what you're saying is true anything could be creepy if you're looking for it. However, nobody was looking for this to be creepy it just was. Nothing against the Creator I listen to some of his videos before and they're fine. This one just felt weird. Especially because the information for this went nowhere. There are lots of people in the industry that have to do different things for certain roles. Yet the info for this really wasn't worth mentioning.
@@debrasouza4342 having a teenage daughter has nothing to do it. Worked with multiple young girls , sisters and neighborhood kids In the modeling, acting industry It’s not creepy in this context you’re just a pervert and projecting
I was told to wear baggy sweaters in jr high because I was "above average" as the guidance counselor put it, and was even encouraged not to wear a bra because then they'd be less noticeable. I hoped things would be different for my own kids, but it wasn't. One teacher even accused my daughter of having an augmentation in 10th or 11th grade because it's not normal to go up 2 sizes in the summer break. Not for a 45yr old woman, but for a teenager? It happens!
I bing watched it when I got paramount+ and honestly my favorite Nick live action show. Zoey 101 aged horribly. Drake n Josh, I really liked as a kid, but the humor didn’t quite pass for adults. Ned was kind of this weird cartoon, but live action.
@@Charlesperalo dude same. I was in middle school during the airing of Ned’s Declassified, so the show actually helped me cope with the awkwardness and anxiety of fitting in. Drake and Josh needs to make a comeback. I know it’ll never happen because they have beef. But maybe one day we’ll see it.
@@Laughy-Flaaffy We’re about the same age and Ned was just a lot of fun for me. It was kind of the school I wished I went to. For Drake & Josh, if Drake Bell didn’t mess up, I think it’d happen. My feeling is Josh Peck doing the new Christopher Nolan movie now wants to be a serious actor. If Drake Bell keeps it clean for 5-10 years, maybe something can work.
And here I was, a DDD in middle school, who loved Neds Declassified, and wouldn’t have minded seeing a larger-breasted tomboy who wasn’t sexualized or bullied for it like I was.
@@Melissa-hd3jr believe me, it ain't all it's cracked up to be.... I'm an H now and I got really bad back issues smh If I could give some away, I would lol
My BFF was an early developer. She could pass for 16-17 at 13 years old. She got picked on by alot of the girls in our class and got hit on by older guys. I was a late bloomer. At 13, I could still pass for like 9-10. If I joined a group outside of school, they didn't always let me do the stuff for teenagers even though I was one simply because of the fact I looked to young. My mom would help prove my age, but some I watched kids a few months older or younger than me enjoy the activity, and I was shuttled off to the nursery
This made me uncomfortable. A man talking about what size a 12 year old should have compared to a 16. Like this could’ve been a topic to just skip over
I was glad to hear he didn't work on the show I have a feeling if he did things would have been a lot more uncomfortable for Lindsey and possibly any other young actresses on the show. Dan is a creep and I'm glad more people are aware of that now, and more and more girls are coming forward to tell their stories of what it was like for them working with him
@@MsDudette21 it’s not really a joke, it’s just trying to make light of a terrible situation instead of sulking about it, I apologize if I offended you
Some kids grow into their bodies earlier. While it is something awkward at that age, they could’ve written into the storyline cause kids who did watch it were going through those experiences with themselves or around them. It’s a normal thing but of course they dealt with it in a body Shaming way.
She got canceled for NOTHING! She is an amazing actor and deserves more opportunities. Though I hated pretty little liars with All my heart show stressed me out 😂
@@fusiontoa18 Typically you walk into a class expecting stuff like this. I was just randomly scrolling and saw this guy start talking about a teenagers boobs, it made me uncomfortable 🤷♀️ Honestly I could only really accept it being talked about by the actress herself. I'd feel weird about another woman discussing it too lmao
@@5bc500 right??? at the very least he could have left out the weird amount of research he did and just inserted the clip of her actually talking about it.

I think it would have been more uncomfortable for Lindsey Shaw to play Moze if Dan Schneider was involved. Same can go for the girls who played Suzie and Lisa
I always got older vibes from her character so they weren’t wrong, but obviously she was still a great addition to the cast. And she’s in good company, Judy garland was way too old to play 10 year old Dorothy but she got it anyway and had her chest taped as well! (And I defffff thought it was odd she always had sweaters but now I know why!)
And maturity is not only in looks. You don't always know what someone has going on at home. And I think it was part of her character's back story that she was growing up in an environment where she was forced to grow up faster
@@IsomerMashups in the book she was 10, and alot stronger and about the right maturity for being raised in the environment she was growing up in. And she was pretty smart. The movie made her alot older and she cried at the drop of a hat. Also, movie Dorothy was on the dumb and helpless side.
Yeah boys tend to hit puberty later than girls lol. Back when I was in MS a male classmate was like 5’2. We went to HS and he remained that height. After HS (he dropped out) I seen him and he has to be well over 6’0 nowadays.
Why are you going into such detail about kids' breasts. It's inappropriate and creepy, dude. You could easily have worded and written that part of the script differently.
Well, for me, when I had first watch the show I had not thought of things like this but, hearing this makes me sort of look back and see that those actors were just like us, people, and for Lindsey Shaw , she's just a regular girl that grew up on the show literally. And I suppose I just seems interesting looking back at scenes where she had to wear a sweater due to her aging, and just made me look at it more of a human and I suppose what the show/business how to do to not reveal that she was obviously aging I suppose. Who knows how different I would feel if I were to have a daughter honestly but yeah...
Kids only get to keep like 25% of their money. It’s a law that kids only work 8 hours a day and keep a small percentage. So really the parents likely kept the rest.
Can you do a short on Brian Robbins, the producer of All That who is now the president of both Nickelodeon and Paramount now. He also directed Good Burger, Hardball, Norbit, Ready to Rumble.
Okay but did we need to know the average cup size of teen girls? That feels unnecessary and weird at that you chose to put that In when you could have just said she was developing more physically or something.
Yeah its weird and creepy, but to an extent it also makes sense, she was hired for the role, and they wanted it to be acurate to the average teenager. They couldent make a magic boob shrinker, so they used tape.still creepy to do with a teenager, but also not 100% unreasonable
Eh. 13 year-olds vary wildly in appearance. They didn't need to do this. When I was 13, some kids were just starting puberty and others were almost done.
Dan made nickelodeon it’s me honest the past 19 years all the way from all that to Sam and cat is shows we’re good everything he made was great The foot fetish stuff really messed them up
I mean making her use tape is def wrong but I'm almost with em on they kept her more covered up. Considering most shows over sexualize teens or make em dress revealing this is almost refreshing to hear minus the tape bs.
This is so sad. When I was 13 myself I had larger than average so I could imagine how this could feel as a 15 year old. Constantly having your body scrutinized
Being an "early bloomer" is also an awkward thing to go through. You have the body of a woman, but your mind is still that of a child. This was my experience.
@@fusiontoa18 or maybe it's just weird for this guy to be talking about teenage girls breasts, no matter the context it's just not a necessary video to be made, its weird
@@fusiontoa18he's not even a doctor/physician who actually studies anatomy and a whole lot more to get an actual degree, he did his "research" on Google for a quick tik tok.
It's not that bad but I mean there were definitely some girls with larger projuberances when in middle school. It could have worked w/o the tape and sweater shit.
Well he’s speak on average outta 5 of the schools I went to most was the same size a handful were bigger than most. Just like a few of the boys that were 6 feet in middle which happened to be all my friends
Yo,, so I’m a trans guy and when I was younger, in middle school, as a girl I developed a larger chest very quickly- like.. a D cup when I only weighed something like 95-100lbs. I personally always thought and still think my chest looks disproportionate to my otherwise ruefully tiny frame (but that’s just me). I think it’s relatively normal for some kids to develop a large chest in middle school and it seems.. invasive and uncomfortable to force a young actress (who was Perfect for the part imo) to hide her chest so she could fit some producers ideal of what middle school girls “should” look like 😅
I loved that show! But honestly it wouldn’t have bugged me if Lindsay had been left be. The producers clearly never known that middle schoolers can in fact have larger breasts. I went to school in grade eight with a prime example.
u say at least Dan didnt produce it but how does that make it any better if she was still taped down? ironic considering u felt the need to even make this video to begin with.
I guess this might be a controversial take, but... I mean, is this really that deep? I mean, is it truly a huge deal as a working actor to have something in between your tshirt & zip-up sweater in order to prevent the sweater from opening? Wardrobe pins & tapes clothes in specific ways for the camera *all* the time, little kids to old people, from head to toe. If they had used safety pins, instead, to keep her sweater in place, would it change anything? In film, there are all kinds of wardrobe tricks for on-camera/stage that would feel/seem far more odd to the wearer than simple garment tape keeping things in place. (Ever see those behind-the-scenes shots of models clothing from behind? Showing how they use clips & stuff to make everything sit just right? ) If she actually _earnestly_ said that this is one of the most awkward moments that happened in her life, she has been blessed with the least awkward life of like, all of us. Teen girls regularly go through far more awkward things in a typical day of middle school.
Ummm this guy need to be put on a list so he stays away from little girls,if this information was said by a woman it would make sense but comming from a man it makes you think of how does he know what size boobs girls have at what age
