Haha I love how much people hate on me with the "fake plastic voice" comment! I do have an sense of humor about myself too... I did not use autotune on this song, I didn't even know how to when I recorded this. I know I sing weird sometimes, its okay to be bothered by it, sometimes I am too! For the record I've improved on pronouncing vowels over the years. hah
Don’t worry about people hating on you. Those people can’t even sing. You are beautiful and very special the way you were made. Hey, we all strive to be unique and cannot find our own voice. You have it! Embrace YOU! Lots of blessings to you.
I love Radiohead and there is something so beautiful and soul-searching about Lindsey's version. Entirely wonderful!! Why can't this be on itunes? Hopefully someone gives her a recording contract soon!!!!
Bravo, Bravo, Bravo! Not only is the video well produced but also the performance is outstanding. Her rendition & her voice are so unique. I will checkout more of Lindsey's music.
Lindsey, you are very talented. I loved your musical choices on the voice and I donated to the start up site for your album. Keep it up...nothing is easy, but that's what makes it awesome. :) Just keep making YOUR music.
After watching this, I spent a lot of time going through all the comments and trying to discern why people would give it negative comments. Lindsey has an amazing voice, its a wonderful interpretation and the addition of Nicholas adds to a really unique and enjoyable rendition. As a musician myself, I can't understand people that don't appreciate good music. Well done Lindsey, keep up the awesome work and don't listen to the haters. With all the woes that the world is facing at the moment, we could use more of the light you bring to the world.
Fake Plastic Trees has been my favorite Radiohead song for quite some time, and Lindsey Pavao was the one contestant on The Voice who was truly captivating every performance. She and Juliet Simms were the most talented performers in the entire series, and neither won that year. I will buy everything Lindsey releases.
Limdsey, you leave me breathless. I love your take on covers, I love your writing, and your voice is like honey, lined with silk .Ok, now I am speechless too.
I think she needs a duet but not just any kind of duet, she needs someone that compliments her sound and edge probably Ryan O'Shagnesy if you don't know who that is check out his video it's called no name by him.
The phrases are rather broken. She sings. In. Choppy.........bits. I think it's pretty interesting, and certainly a VERY different take on the song. Very original. Oh and the cello could be put to better use.
