This is such a powerful tool for any solo artist, auxiliary musician, singer/guitarist, worship leader etc. Using Snapshots you can change chords of the Synth Pad (OSC 3 Block) to fit YOUR song and performance. Nice video/idea! Wondering if you could combine this with the pitch shifter to avoid having separate presets for each key? Just label the snapshots I ii iii IV V vi vii in the key of e.g. c and then use the pitch shifter to adjust the key? Just an idea, idk how it would sound!

I have! The dual pitch is great for that. Warning though, it tracks very well…the good notes, AND the bad ones in my experience. Cover it all in verb and you’ll be good to rock!

This makes me feel so stoopid. I have a helix floor. Massive collection of guitars. Just got a new rode nt1a… vocally I actually sound a lot like you, (which is an odd experience🤔) I really wish I could just figure out, a simplistic way to record vocals through the helix, even on a seperate channel, just using monitor headset. I don’t know what the hell im doin with it. Don’t know what mic options I’m supposed to select on the tabs below… 🤷‍♂️. Kinda sucks being a proficient guitarist and singer, yet technologically intimidated by the tools at my disposal. I couldn’t tell you where to even find friggin snapshots

So in theory, could I use the same “technique” to get a more low end, distorted base type sound that would sound similar to a nice set of bagpipes for when I’m playing copperhead Road by myself?

Hey man! Really nice work 💥.. I have a question tho, I use the helix LT and i was wondering if I have to use any special cable to conect a dynamic mic on it ¿Any thoughts?

If the HX LT has an AUX input, you can simply get an adapter to make the connection. Or put it in the return of the effects loop.

I use a helix LT and run acoustic and vocals through it all the time using a mic to line adapter and going through one of the returns. They are also called impedance matching transformers but they are inexpensive and work great and you can avoid using an expensive mic pre amp

Hey Chad, I purchased the All Keys Preset and its missing G#maj or (F minor) P.S The description page actually skips mentioning Gmaj and G#maj too...

G# is the Same thing as Ab Maj. Ab is the more commonly used key signature. Using the G# Maj scale would look like G#, A#, B#, C#, D#, E#, F##, G#. Just a little more complicated than using Ab Maj. Sorry for the confusion, but you have all the keys, I just labeled G# Maj differently.

The Ab Maj scale is just way easier to read too. Ab, Bb, C, Db, Eb, F, G, Ab. Hope that helps.

Yep! There are 4 stereo paths that you can split and manipulate into whatever way you wanna make those work for ya! DSP allowing. Thanks for watching!
