Line 6 Spider IV 120 amp demo. Comprehensive onboard effects system with LCD screen 

So I just got this used for a steal. My first BIG amp. The volume control is insane. You could barely turn it up without blowing my place up.

I have the same amp. They are tremendous but people don't take the time and trouble to learn how to use them. It's everything you will ever need with a Mk2 foot controller. Eventually I'm going to get the 150w stacking version with a four speaker cabinet.

Thanks for uploading this video. I've just bought a Spider 4 120w. A couple of months ago I bought the Spider 2 150w and was blown away by how good the S2 sounded. The S2 works well with the BOSS GT8. I use it on clean using the BOSS GT8 and the Roland JC120 patch. Having tried the S2 without the GT8 iv found that I can get as close to a R120 using Clean Chorus and delay. Iv now set the Spider 2 to emulate a JC120 and no longer using the GT8 so very impressed.. Regarding the Spider 4 120 iv been able to emulate thr JC120 by using these settings.. User 02A Pop Rocks patch.. drive at 12 bass 2 O'clock mid 2 O'clock tremble 4 O'clock channel V 12 O'clock Gain Off. Chorus showing around 16 bar's in the LED display. Delay around 10 bar's in the LED display Reverb 9 O'clock. Guitar is a Fender Jaguar that uses 2 single coil pick ups. These settings work great on both neck and bridge pick ups. I last used a JC120 over 30 plus years ago so it's more about memory!. I use a Line6 long foot board that came with the amplifier so very grateful for any advice

I also have this Amp.. I think it depends on the player's choice or tone building sense.. This amp has some small issues, but can't complaint about the tones, cause It's possible to edit and make it sound as preferred..

Just bought the head to go with the cab, I love it. Real punchy tone, some ppl hate it mainly cause they are tube snobs or such (nothing wrong with tubes), just opinions. Just depends on the player. Lol

I would like an option for a pre set drum or bass background track, that you could turn the dial to speed it up for rock or down for blues. Anyway I bought one of these used to pick up tomorrow. So we'll see if it goes back on the market the day after. Big market in used gear now.

so do U get the best sound by low master and high channel volume? I can never get this right

I have a line 6 spider iv 75 watt. I'm wanting to upgrade the speakers because I play a schecter devil 8 string and it just doesnt have the low end for it. So.. comments section lol any suggestions?
