my favorite, by far, is the home-made pen with India ink on the cool paper. i recently got a few dip pens (one is a bamboo reed...) and India ink and Sepia ink, and am having so much fun with pen and wash. Really loving all your urban sketching videos too. thank you!
We are in Puerto Vallarta and I just did all three of these adorable radishes again. AND I am using the GOOD sketch book for the first time and the pen that you like as well as other implements. There is so much to paint and sketch here and I am going to just jump into trying scenery and people - never done either before but so inspiring just looking around. I love the way you teach and will keep going with you. Thanks!
I love the trio then the matchstick, and lastly the fine lined piece but all are good in their own ways. The precious thing is the idea behind each. A wonderful exercise that can turn into beautiful, frame-worthy works of art is what you have demonstrated. Thanks so much for sharing!
Oh, Liz! I just LOVE this tutorial and am trying all of your techniques. Your style is just what I wish to learn and thank you for being so encouraging which keeps us newbies so excited and willing to keep going. We are heading for a holiday and I am taking YOU with me as I will have lots of time to learn. Thank you for sharing!
I love these! for me, paint then pen all the way! I feel so inspired and now its autumn there's no better time than to pick something from the garden and get painting! 😊
Everything about this is strong and fresh and bright, exactly like a radish tastes. You've made me smile on this Saturday quarantine morning. Thank you!
I love this! And I love the first ink and painting the most. It seems more brilliant..more strong in color..more realistic. Can't wait to see your next painting and ink.
Found you by accident and love your work. Please keep posting more of your work. I love line and wash after seeing your art. I have painted on khadi paper and my colours were intense unlike what you got. Not sure why. Am going to try out khadi again:)
I just find your channel and I love it all ready... From isolation I try to paint something like that, and your video opened my mind a lot, thanks! You have a new subscriber. Greetings from Argentina
regretfully I made this two years ago and cannot remember. The colours weren’t important, to be honest. It was all about trying different pens and order of working. Just use your favourite pinks and greens.
